Here’s what really happened here at Oh Sweet Merch during last financial year

The highs and the lows

We bought a warehouse!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

And thennn a war broke out and fuel costs went up. Shipping went up. Every single supplier hiked up their prices. It felt like we were being forced to strip back and re-assess absolutely everything…. pricing, processes, the lot.

We’d never had merch packs before. So we sat down and actually listened to our customers’ pain points, and rebuilt them from scratch to ease buyer fatigue instead of adding to it.

We had to re-learn our numbers. It was hard, but a seed planted last year by the amazing mentor Zeb from @noosavibehouse helped us completely reframe our business brain.

Then our merch store host platform made our life genuinely difficult, and we made the call to close our merch stores down. As a business owner, shutting down something you love is never an easy decision.

But that closure opened a door we didn’t expect. The opportunity to step into live activations. Watch this space 👀

The best part of our year? Moving into our warehouse and really understanding our niche. Getting to know our local communities.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s stuck with us through the lows and continues to watch this business grow. We see you, and we’re so grateful. 🤍
