LA celebrated 50 years of car culture this past weekend at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Mall. It was a beautiful thing.

In honor of Juneteenth, I wanted to honor my grandmother Dorothy Ann Robinson who migrated to South Central LA from rural Texas in the 1940s. The “Eastside” is an integral piece of LA culture and it’s on the backs of our grand and great grandparents that many Black families from LA stand. We all got roots from the South and it’s a testament that our roots in this country are DEEP. We will continue to say their names, honor their sacrifices and uphold their dignity. This country would be NOTHING WITHOUT THEM. Happy early liberation day. ✊🏾 by @ohthatsfallon

I don’t care what it look like…if you’re married or in a relationships as a BLACK person, I’m proud of you. This sh*t is NOT easy. Not because we’re difficult. There are systems that literally want us to FAIL. ❤️✨

Tragic day in LA today. Rest well to the beautiful angel that was found in a dumpster this morning. Heartbreaking 💔

A look into the brilliant mind of New York Times best selling author @kyradavislurie ❣️

We discussed her novel “The Great Mann” which highlights LA’s own West Adams area formally known as “Sugar Hill”. LA history at its finest! Such a pleasure. 🌴💕 taken in Los Angeles, California by @ohthatsfallon
