I tried to convince myself not to make this post because making this post is another reminder that this is real…. this really happened…. and knowing how I’ve struggled with acceptance and disassociation, I know that I can’t do that if I want God to heal my heart…. On October 20, 2025 my baby girl passed away. My good girl, my perfect girl, my Bailey. The one who made me a Mommie. The one I brought home over 3 years ago and promised that I’d love her and give her the best life that I possibly could. These past 2 days have been so rough and I don’t see the days ahead being much different…. but I’m believing that God will take this pain away. I have so many questions and its heartbreaking to realize that they’ll never be answered…I can’t believe that I’ll never be able to cuddle with her, kiss her nose, or just hold her again… my baby … my baby girl… I love my baby. I hope that my baby knows that her Mommie loves her and tried her best to give her the best life that any pet parent could…. I love you Bailey and I always will…. You brought me so much joy. You not being here anymore doesn’t feel right….I just wish we had more time…. I thought that we would’ve had more time…. 💔🥺😞 Rest in the sweetest peace my Bailey Ja’Nae McKenzie Stanley, my baby. “But through it all, I remember… that He loves me and He cares.
