Following Jesus doesn’t mean we escape heartbreak, it often means we face it with Him by our side. Sometimes we can mislabel our seasons, but God is faithful to reveal that what feels like loss can actually be healing.

Sometimes LOVE looks like not waiting on someone to come along to buy you flowers unexpectedly or do life with but buying them yourself and showing up as the woman you want to become everyday 🫶🏾 this season has been about letting go of control, understanding Gods grace is sufficient and His love is more than enough, bridling my tongue, surrendering my desires and wants, forgiving immediately, progress over perfection, love without expectations, being vulnerable with God about every thing, trusting Him in the unknown, and asking that He search my heart so that I may come out pure as gold! And while I feel like this season of healing is far from over… I’ll leave you with this if you’re in a season that feels heavy, don’t miss what God is doing because it doesn’t look like what you thought it would. Know that you are being healed, strengthened, and loved more deeply than you realize 💝 taken in In His Presence by @ohthatsmiki

There was so many gems from the conference 🤭 but I love how @its_datreese addressed this! I don’t think people realize how much authority and power is in the Word of God! We have to be careful to NOT normalize gossiping or putting our mouth on Gods people in the Christian community while labeling it as venting or concern..

I remember hearing one of my sisters in Christ say “ what you say or think about others, reveals something ABOUT YOU! “ and that has made me check my heart continually, even my thoughts I have to continually bring under subjection! by @ohthatsmiki

We were honored to have @disciple_of_yeshua75 join us at The Fall of the Influence Conference 🙏🏾 He spoke on the feeling of missing out and comparing ourselves to the world..

I know that we sometimes look around at the world and find ourselves comparing our lives to others. We wonder why it often takes longer for those who are trying to live the right way to receive what God has promised them, while it seems like those who are living wickedly have everything they want right now.

Psalms 37:1 NLT reminds us
“To not worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither.” by @ohthatsmiki
