Synopsis: Tessa Calloway is riding high on a whirlwind tour for her instant bestseller, but behind the adoring crowds, a nightmare is unfolding. Someone is stalking her from city to city, intent on destroying her career and tearing her family apart. A desperate choice from Tessa’s past is coming back to collect, and if she can’t figure out who’s pulling the strings, she risks losing everything—including her life. My Thoughts: ALL THIS COULD BE YOURS is a taut, deeply unsettling psychological ride. The constant threat shadowing Tessa on her book tour creates this suffocating atmosphere where every city feels more dangerous than the last. Because Tessa is so grounded, watching her past catch up to her hits with real emotional weight—especially when it starts tearing at the seams of her home life. It’s sleek, fast-paced, and wildly addictive. A total page-turner that proves just how fast hidden truths can wreck a picture-perfect life. #OhYeahIReadThat by @ohyeahireadthat
Synopsis: Old secrets don’t fade—they just bide their time. Left with nothing after losing both her job and her apartment, Julia Barlow retreats to her family’s remote 1600s estate in Massachusetts, desperate for a quiet refuge. But the historic house offers anything but peace. Between flickering lights, a grandfather clock stopping at 3:41 a.m. every night, and weeping echoes outside her bedroom door, Julia stumbles into a dark legacy rooted in a 1692 witch execution. As long-buried family lies come to light, she realizes the silenced women of Pemberton’s past are finally demanding to be heard. My Thoughts: Sadly, this one was a DNF for me—my first (and hopefully only!) one of the year. 🫤 I just couldn’t build enough of a connection with Julia to feel invested in what happened to her, and the plot turned out to not be as interesting to me. Always a bummer when a premise sounds promising but just doesn’t hit. #OhYeahIReadThat by @ohyeahireadthat
Deliberating (and reading!) into the evening with THIS JURY IS GUILTY by @laurieblakeauthor. 🏛️✨ Absolutely hooked on this one! Thank you to Sourcebooks Landmark for the complimentary eARC. #OhYeahIReadThat by @ohyeahireadthat
To annotate, or not to annotate, that is the question. 🤔📚 Thank you so much for the pens & highlighters @PilotPenUS! A while back, the sweet team over at @PilotPenUS sent me a box of AMAZING goodies. We’re talking ultra-fine tips (ideal for margin notes!) and some have erasable ink that actually works! (Seriously, erasable pens have come a long, LONG way since my school days—magic! ✨) They also sent erasable highlighters!!! STOP! 🤯 I reach for these every single day at work because they write like a dream and come in every color imaginable. But… I’m facing a major reader dilemma. I don’t think I can bring myself to write in a book! I’m the type of reader who can’t even dog-ear a page and would never dream of cracking a spine. 🙈 Where do you stand? Are you team #AnnotateEverything or team #KeepItPristine? Let me know in the comments! 👇 #PilotPenPartner #Bookstagram #OhYeahIReadThat by @ohyeahireadthat

Synopsis: Sloane, Ardie, Grace, and Rosalita have spent years ignoring the toxic rumors surrounding their boss, Ames. But when the company’s CEO suddenly dies and Ames is slated to take over, his latest inappropriate move becomes the absolute final straw. Refusing to stay silent any longer, the four women take a stand—igniting a devastating corporate reckoning where buried secrets surface, lives shatter, and not everyone survives the fallout. My Thoughts: WHISPER NETWORK takes a sharp look at corporate culture and the unspoken rules women navigate in male-dominated offices. The story nails the everyday reality of workplace harassment, and integrating police transcript snippets alongside real-world elements makes it feel eerily grounded. I found the story to be rather predictable, but as a character-driven corporate drama with a powerful message, it completely delivers. If you’ve ever worked in a male-dominated office, it’s well worth the read. (This book is NOT a mystery, thriller, or suspense…and I’m not sure why it was marketed that way. To me this is feminist fiction.) #OhYeahIReadThat by @ohyeahireadthat
Wandering through pages of history (and mystery) at The Boston House in Fort Pierce, FL. 🕯️ A wall full of stories, a stairwell full of charm—where every step comes with a new chapter. 🍂📜✨ As a book lover, would you ever decorate like this? #OhYeahIReadThat by @ohyeahireadthat
Synopsis: Penny Lin works as a Portland body broker, transporting donated cadavers while keeping her dark history buried. But when her ex-lover—a high-profile medical researcher—turns up dead on her slab, he comes with a terrifying anonymous warning: keep quiet, or your deepest secrets get exposed. Blackmailed into disposing of a killer’s growing body count, Penny is forced into a deadly game that threatens her sanity, her freedom, and ultimately her life. The Thought: SHE DIES IN THE END had me hooked the second I read the premise. Penny’s morbid line of work and the shadowy questions surrounding her history kept me glued to the page, eagerly diving into the story’s darker corners. The book’s real strength lies in its gritty atmosphere and total commitment to moral complexity. Penny is far from your traditional hero, but watching her navigate such murky ethical territory made her interesting to follow. While a few twists landed much better than others and I didn’t connect as deeply with the characters as I wanted to, it’s an entertaining, tension-filled read with a truly original edge. Thank you to Thomas & Mercer for the complimentary ARC. All opinions are my own. #OhYeahIReadThat by @ohyeahireadthat
We did talk about books tonight. Her cookbook. #OhYeahIRaedThat by @ohyeahireadthat
Synopsis: It’s been eight long years since a scandal derailed Jerek Hayes’ life, leaving him drowning in vicious headlines, public backlash, and whispers that his family’s deep pockets bought his freedom. Ready to leave the fallout behind, he packed up, moved across the country, and built a shiny new life from scratch—acting like he got off scot-free. But Sabrina hasn’t forgotten. She’s been biding her time for the exact right moment, waiting for Jerek to finally feel safe so she can strip it all away piece by piece. My Thoughts: HE HAD IT COMING is a novella, so I flew through it in a single sitting! It’s a fast-and-furious revenge thriller that moves at a breakneck pace. I didn’t care for a single person in this cast—they’re all unapologetically messy, deeply toxic, and completely unlikable—but the chaotic energy and twists are what kept me glued to this wickedly dark thriller. Thank you to William Morrow Books for the complimentary eARC. All opinions are my own. #OhYeahIReadThat by @ohyeahireadthat
