Teach someone to fish and you feed them for a lifetime

Ocean Isle Beach Fishing Pier is excited to launch Pier Fishing 101 Classes for summer 2019! Class is 2 hours, held on Wednesdays 9am to 11am from June 26 to August 28. Our instructor is a retired teacher, loves to teach, and an excellent fisherman! Learn basic skills necessary to catch fish and have fun doing so! Topics covered in the class include species identification, how to cast and tie your rigs as well as catch and release techniques, and more. Instruction, equipment, bait, and 2 hour fishing fee is included. Cost is $20 pp age 12-112, under 12 brings one adult with them for free. All money goes to support the OIB pier maintenance and upkeep fund. Class size is limited so don't wait too long to register.
