- Redaktion www.BerlinOnAir.cc #Neuerscheinung #Spotify #NeueMusik #Indie #Review #Musikblog #Blogger by @oihane_roach
Music by @oihane_roach , @juanamariachi | Words: @adrianprath Artwork: @you.cmr Youssouf Camara Release Date: 28.06.2026 I am delighted to introduce you to the music of a truly talented Berlin-based artist named Oihane Roach. Her EP ‘A Tender Room’ takes us into a soulful and folk-inspired world and impresses with a heartwarming voice that I fell in love with within seconds. I am touched by its grounded, narrative character, which is marked by fabulous dynamics and an impressive tonal range. Between the lines of the five tracks, you can feel a romantic, euphoric, but also vulnerable side. To me, the songwriting feels like a very personal diary entry that has been turned into dreamy melodies. The beautiful choir elements give the EP a very pleasant, spacious a cappella texture, which is perfectly supported by the lo-fi beats, acoustic percussion and piano accompaniment. Oihane Roach’s sound also has a certain lightness to it, while I feel as if I am listening to a release recorded live in the studio - raw and unpolished, but honest and completely handmade! The EP was produced in collaboration with Maria José Ulloa Beteta, who makes it a true gem of modern singer-songwriter music.
