It’s happening ✨
Aberdeen - my massage sessions are here :)

It’s been a long time coming.
Around 6 years ago I relocated back to this city, it wasn’t in the original plan.
I was at a peak time of moving my practice and #OilsOnTour forward.
The retreats, the workplace sessions, the collaborations and workshops - I jumped into it
all. I had a massage location in Kensington. The appreciative massage recipients (some of you reading this) and the audiences - you drove me to that place in my career, I’m very thankful. You are everything.

The course of events changed. My wise mother advised me to buy a flat in Aberdeen before going full throttle on the business.
As apprehensive I was; I decided she was right.

I had my eyes on a flat to buy in Aberdeen, then my mother passed away. We didn’t even know she was unwell, till she took a turn one day. Thankfully I was here at the time, and created some memories, in what turned out to be her last weeks. Then, of course, Covid changed everyone’s lives soon after.

With the cumulative turn of events-it was never the moment to be setting up my massage sessions. Taking on a new local client base didn’t feel right. I did / do have obligations and passion for still seeing my die hards. Do we all say ‘pre-Covid’ when discussing an era?

However, the time is right here, right now.
I have found my tribe and ready to launch in Aberdeen for my community.

Watch this space I am starting with a monthly massage residency at Rewild, Huntly Street, founded by Aber-facial legend Jo.

"William Ogboke first treated me in July of 2010. I had a car accident in May of that year, from which I was still suffering some discomfort, and had met William through a friend at a charity event. Since then, whenever I am in London, I have continued to visit William professionally every four to six weeks or so.

On every level William's work has proved to be an excellent investment for me, and I very readily recommend him to anyone. It became clear, immediately at my first session, that he is thoroughly and professionally knowledgeable with his product and service. This impressed me because I noticed he was careful not to show off his learning unnecessarily, but concentrated on me, the details of my physique and my experiences. Straight away he was able to select the most appropriate products and treatment from a very wide and diverse range. I found his confidence reassuring. Since then I have continued to take sessions with William because, even though I recovered well from the effects of the car accident, I find the treatment very beneficial, both for my personal wellbeing and also in my work as a professional musician.

It's true that a client needs to be co-operative, allowing William to work firmly, without trying to hinder him or pre-empt things. However, I think it's a further testimony to his skills that, when this happens (usually owing to my being tired or nervous), he is able very efficiently to achieve his purposes by allaying any anxieties a patient may be feeling. His knowledge of anatomy is obviously very thorough, and initially a patient may experience some pain, but even this is only temporary and soon gives way to greater comfort than a patient would have without it.

William is very friendly, personable, intelligent and patient. There is never any sense of hurry, (even when, as often happens in London, it's very stressful trying to arrive on time). It's a thoroughly worthwhile use of time to visit him, and I hope he'll be around and available for a long time yet!" #oilsontour #massagereview #happyclient #feedback #tbt #grateful🙏🏾 by @oilsontour
