Hey everybody it’s Rio, I know it’s been a while since I’ve last posted. But I got this project that I just released called “Trust” and I pray and hope that you check it out. This song “Trust” means a lot to me.. As it is my first ever Christian song and my first ever official song that I’ve personally uploaded.. but more importantly the words that are contained in this song is what I believe is significant. The definition of Trust according to the Oxford dictionary is to have firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. Yet many times we lack belief … We lack belief with the one who made us.. We lack belief to trust in God. The one who is able.. the one who is quite literally defined as truth. You see to trust in God is not always the easiest nor painless process but it sure is worth it at the end of the day.. So I ask you, where is your trust? .. Trust in God.So yeah.. I really hope you all enjoy this project. And I apologize for my absence, I pray you all of you are doing good! God has been working on me a lot these past couple months and I’m excited for what he has in store. With that being said I just want to thank each and every one of you who has been supporting me along this journey I appreciate you very much.. As I am writing this it is December 31, 2025, 4:05 PMI honestly have never really made a post like this before…but hey.. Here we are!As I create this post and kinda reflect over this past year and the past years of my life. If you would’ve told me ten years ago I'd be where I’m at right now…Mannnn.. idek what I would say 🤷‍♂️🤣 (I’d just have to pray young Ri would understand lol)I am 20 years old writing this now and it’s coming around 2 years since my life has radically changed..God, the creator of the universe, saved me and I started following Jesus.This gift not of my own merit but by God's grace has been the greatest thing that has ever happened to me in my life and I honestly can’t really think of anything better, nothing else really compares..As I look over all that God brought me through this year I can’t help but to say that I’m grateful and thankful. The mercy God has on my life is truly hard to fathom and he deserves all the honor, all the praise and all the glory. Because apart from God I am nothing.. and apart from God we are nothing.My journey coming around 2 years of following Jesus Christ has been far from perfect, many mistakes, many wrongdoings, many people I’ve wronged, and many things I regret doing that I’ve done while on this walk. Yet God has been gracious towards me..The reason I chose that specific photo with me crying, and with what seems to be snot or something coming down from my nose was to try and encapsulate the emotion of how Good God has been to me all these years… all this 2025. You see It says in 2 Timothy 2:13, “If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.”And in Psalm 161:1, “Give thanks to Yahweh, for He is good, For His lovingkindness endures forever.”And I personally can testify and say that these statements are true.. I am living proof. Life outside of God is truly meaningless, and mere vanity. However God can give your life purpose and he can give it meaning. The scriptures state Jesus Christ is the truth, the way, and the life and is the only way to the father (John 14:6) If you're still reading this and don’t know that I pray that you do.
