me and the people i love during my last month being 25 🌟

25 reminded me of my strength, but also reminded me that i am not invincible. i was faced with grief and life altering changes that i was no where near prepared for. i am no stranger to grief. when you face tremendous loss like i have, it becomes second nature. i grieve, i grow, i repeat. it’s an inevitable of life, the reality that people you love will die, and nothing will prepare you for it. this year, i lost both my dad and my grandma within a month of each other. while the loss has been significant and painful, grief has a funny way of reminding you how much love is in your life. it is difficult to sit in sorrow, but my friends remind me that i am never sitting alone.

i am so thankful to be alive. i’m thankful to have friends and family that love and care for me. i’m thankful for delicious food and music and hbo max originals and my regal unlimited pass. most importantly, i am thankful for myself and the love i give to myself every day. to the ever changing me that i am and always will be. 5 years old KT would think i am so mf cool.
