✨HYROX DC ✨, 1:22 Top 19% our first doubles + my 1st race in the books! @ok_jflo you already know, I’m so incredibly proud of us and all the work we put in to get here. Discipline and consistency got us here, and we’re not done yet! 🔥

I decided not to add a soundtrack to this one — because no song could capture what this really is. The laughter, the inside jokes, even the awkwardness… that’s the sound of a friendship built over a lifetime. Some things don’t need music. They just need to be witnessed. 🤍

Since first grade, these girls have seen every version of me — the awkward phases, the high school drama, the boy troubles, the bad decisions, the heartbreak, marriage, and everything in between. We’ve been through every phase life could throw at us together.

And somehow, through all of it, we’re still here. Still friends. Now watching our kids grow up and play together the exact same way we did all those years ago. That’s not luck, that’s real. I’m taking these girls to my grave. 🤍

And to the rest of our girls who aren’t in this video, only because life has us scattered across the world right now — you’re just as much a part of this. Distance doesn’t change what this is. Love you girls endlessly. 🤍 @_kjoy @marymarymarycons @may_lilone16

This post is for the people standing behind the finish line.

To my husband, my daughter, and my friends—thank you for showing up for me when this race came together with almost no notice. Two weeks before race day, I decided to take on HYROX, and not a single one of you hesitated.

You rearranged schedules, traveled, waited in the heat, cheered through every station, and believed in me long before I crossed that finish line.

When things got hard, knowing you were there gave me something extra to fight for.

And to the friends who couldn’t be there on race day but were there for the early mornings, tough workouts, encouragement, and training sessions behind the scenes—this finish has your fingerprints all over it. Thank you for being part of the journey. @k.mnsla @ruth.shau by @ok_jflo

I’m 4’11”.
Tail end of my period.
83-degree heat.
Hive breakouts that put me out of work the week before.
Signed up just two weeks before race day.

Every excuse to sit this one out. Instead, I showed up.

HYROX wasn’t pretty, easy, or comfortable—but I crossed that finish line. Not because I was the strongest person out there, but because I had heart, determination, and an incredible support system behind me every step of the way.

Most importantly, I had my daughter watching. Showing her that hard things are worth doing, even when they’re scary, inconvenient, or uncomfortable.

This finish represents so much more than a race. It’s proof of what can happen when you show up despite the circumstances.

Now I have a baseline. A starting point. Something to build from.
