Daredevil Born Again SE1EP00: cosplay edition 🤫

When gradient mapping and an orange overlay makes your cosplay more interesting 🤔

I like the tone that the combination of overlay + gradient maps give to a medium to high contrast image. I think down the road I will have to get some night photography near my home.

Thanks again to @moonkiller17 for catching me mid flight 🤣

If you’re interested in doing some sessions my links are above in the bio🫡

This is me….When life isn’t too complicated! Test shots before a photo shoot can be some of my favorite self portraits...

Every month I spend hours working with VETERANS taking thousands of photos. Unfortunately those memories cannot be shared or showcased here on my page.

📸Shot on Sony A7iii 📸 with #tamron70180.

Joker and Harley… just kidding around!

So one of the best opening acts for my @dragoncon 2026 photo sessions was this amazing pair of partners in mayhem. I was honored to hang out with these two fantastic cosplayers that took an early AM trip into Dragon Con, well before I had even left my home for Saturday..

Hope to see you guys again soon @bhorras1111

Help me find some GUNDAM or other MECH cosplays in Atlanta area, PLEASE!?

I haven’t been able to capture any Transformers or GUNDAM cosplays in years. I want to change that at @animeweekendatlantaofficial

Calling all SPIDER-MAN cosplayers in the Atlanta area… let’s get together!

So @theamazingdaxon absolutely crushed this Spider-Man at @dragoncon years back and I hope to see him again sometime!

So I will be at @animeweekendatlantaofficial doing some work on Saturday and Sunday of the weekend. Contact me if you want to get a shoot in.

Toga will always be one of my favorite cosplay and characters from the league of villains from @plusultra

In 2020 I had the honor of working on a BTS set for @aquariustaughtme @shinobicomplex and @alliecatcosplay (this magnificent Himiko Toga) and the @the_pregamers

This was a project in February 2020 focused on diverse backgrounds in cosplay. Still honored to be part of it and this started some of the longest cosplay friendships I have today!

Allie hope you remember me from my other page @theotakulens

This was taken in RAW on an APSC Sony a6600 with 16-55mm G lens. I took it with me to the project to get some BTS photos. I currently use a Full-Frame Sony A7iv and A7CR with 24-70mm F2.8 Sigma or Sony 85mm F1.4 GM. Such a great experience going back to these images today and doing a complete re-edit.

Thought of the day: doesn’t matter the camera, the skills to frame and control light is what matters.

Would you hire this Spider-Man for your cosplay photography?

So real talk here… I am very particular about my photography. I honestly rework my own photos over and over. Paid clients get an enhanced quality but the cosplay photos at the cons are a special interest of mine. I offer my services to a lot of people but I can tell you this is for certain: if you find me at the cons photos are usually free. It’s a way to give back to a group who deserves it. My theory is if you take the time to get to know me then we are now cosplay cousins.

Bonus is I usually do photography in cosplay!

One of the best parts of @dragoncon is the Parade on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta.

unfortunately I have not filmed it since 2019…

Can’t believe it’s been a week since sweating in my Kisuke Urahara cosplay (authentic Samue) @dragoncon standing in line for the vender hall. I chose to not wear his lounge robe (Haori) this time or carry Benihime shikomizue or Shikai version.

Lawd is was too dang hot for that line!
