I came across this illustration by @cmentarnica666 and couldn’t resist animating it.

It was fun to play with textures and try to maintain the vibe from the original art.

Let me know what you think!

My Precious 💍👀

When this card was first revealed, it immediately caught my attention. The artwork captures Gollum perfectly, and honestly, the illustrations across the entire set have been amazing.

I’ve always felt a strong connection to Tolkien’s world, so as both a MTG and Middle-earth fan, I wanted to take some time to animate one of my favorite cards from the set.

This is my small tribute to a world I’ve loved for years.

Some close-up looks at my latest animation 🕷️🎸

I’ve always loved Spider-Punk. That mix of chaos and freedom really speaks to me 🤘
So when I saw this card, I just had to bring @forrest_i’s awesome artwork to life.

Fully rigged and animated in After Effects.

🛠️ Behind the scenes – Animating the Chocobo card from the FF x MTG crossover 🐤🃏

Here’s a look at the full process behind the animation:
- Layer separation and repainting in Photoshop
- Rig setup with Duik
- Keyframe animation

The original illustration by @domenicocava11 had so much personality that I wanted to respect every detail, even the hidden ones!

That’s the full journey for this little Chocobo, more animation experiments coming soon!l

Animated Shoka from “The World Ends With You”
Practicing some rigging and liked the result enough to make a short animation.
