As the summer begins to wrap up and we head towards Beta Theta Pi’s 187th Convention, I am reflecting on some of the most incredible experiences I have had this summer.

My summer started off with @teamaflv Undergraduate InterFraternity Institute. This was my first time and it was such an incredible opportunity. It was a transformational experience and I’m so grateful I had the chance to be a small group facilitator.

After UIFI, I had the chance to be one of the lead facilitators at @betathetapi ’s John and Nellie Wooden Institute for Men of Principle for the 2nd time and my 7th Wooden Institute overall. This year was extra special because I had @steven_harvey9 as one of the interns. He did such a great job this summer and watching him join @betaiowa until now and the growth he’s shown has been incredible.

Then I headed to @phigammadelta The Leadership Institute for the 2nd time. It was so fun to spend time with another fraternity. I firmly believe that a rising tide lifts every ship. Investing in other organizations makes every campus better.

Finally, I wrapped up with @deltagamma_eo Lewis Institute. My second time at Lewis was almost as incredible as my first (and my first time was actually perfection). Lewis was a perfect way to wrap up my summer facilitating and I could have hoped for nothing better.

I also had a fantastic opportunity to join the @1976afa Foundation Board of Directors. Where I not only got to participate in our 1,976 Minutes of Giving Campagin but also our summer board retreat.

This summer reminded me of: the power of investing in our collegiate members, the way friendships and relationships are formed and how much volunteering fills my cup. There’s entirely too many people for me to tag but thank you to each and every one of you. You made this summer an incredible one. by @okkayerick

Last State Conference 😔
Thank you all for the amazing memories these past 7 years! I've had the best time being a State Officer and competing in so many events. And a special thanks to Mrs. Jobe, who got me interested in TSA.
