Birthday lunch. Best Asian restaurant in the state of Oklahoma! Had to cut our trip short due to weather, but had a blast in Colowaddo like @_caden.edwards_ used to say. #Stillwater #Oklahoma #DevotedOK by @oklahomafarmhouse

We had a FUN day in #EstesPark #RMNP #RooseveltNationalForest #Colorado #Elk watching - one of my Roma’s things to do…and one of few places you can see elk just hanging out with people in downtown Estes. I ❤️ 🏔️ views. I miss my babies though. Tomorrow is another adventure with @theringneckedranch @christonbrandi @82rac by @oklahomafarmhouse

Last night I attended the Family Advocacy Center’s annual fundraiser in Seminole. This month is Domestic Violence Awareness month and Family Advocacy helped multiple families this past year to include 4 families who received caring and supportive treatment from the SANE for strangulation cases. The SANE also helped 14 sexual assault victims.

I have had multiple friends and employees affected by domestic violence to include their children. Men can be victims too. I attend these as a reminder to stand up for what is right and to share resources with my everyone I can.

If you know of anyone or if you need help, please call 1.800.799.7233 or you can visit https://lnkd.in/ggZW4mcs to chat online. by @oklahomafarmhouse

Tonight was the 737 + Ducks Unlimited event. What made it even better was that I received my 20-year volunteer pin right here in Seminole, where I live.

20 years ago in August, I had recently moved to Colorado without knowing anyone. My mentor and trainer, Barry, said he would take me to a Trout Unlimited event and then to a #DucksUnlimited event. That’s where my volunteer journey started, at the Pike’s Peak Chapter. Then onto Utah, and back home in Oklahoma.

My volunteer time hasn’t been perfect; but when I thought about quitting, I remember the mission and the WHY behind it. Wetlands conservation. The bonus is all the amazing people I’ve met in those 20 years. Cheers to another 20.

My week in #Utah has me in the feels. I will always love it here. Park City. Deer Valley. The rivers. The mountains. Fall. I love it all. #ParkCity #HighWest #highwestdistillery #DeerValley by @oklahomafarmhouse

This should be like an international waters type law. Or, airport time is its own time. Or airport time matches Vegas time. #Unlike #ItsOnly0650 #FlyOKC by @oklahomafarmhouse
