POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Still trying to process this moment... I had the absolute honor of sitting down with the legendary, Grammy-nominated musician @ericgalesband for an in-depth interview that left me inspired beyond words.
His story, his wisdom, his journey, every minute was pure gold. This conversation isn’t just another interview... it’s a chapter of something much bigger. I’m beyond excited to share that this highlights the tone in my upcoming book, set to release November 2026!
To have the chance to talk with someone who’s not only redefined blues and rock, but also embodies resilience, authenticity, and artistry — it reminded me why I started this journey in the first place. Not only did I gain a follower, I gained a friend. A brother in which not only educates me musically and emotionally, but mentally.
Stay tuned, because this is just the beginning. The stories, the lessons, the inspiration coming your way are unreal.

"Jordan's First Day", the first book in the Hip-Hop Little series by @okmodello 📘addresses the daunting experience of starting school, making friends, and navigating themes of diversity, racism, and allyship. Nervous about his first day after moving to a new town, Jordan Brown feels relieved to find a diverse group of friends ready to welcome him. However, when Nick, the school bully, begins to pick on him, Jordan must discover if his new friends will stand by him.

This charming story teaches the importance of supporting one another in new environments, making it a valuable read for young readers.

QOTD: What advice would you give to someone starting at a new school or job to help them feel more at ease?

Now within these past few years I’ve had a tremendous amount of success. Thousands of book sales, national news, partnerships, and magazine covers. Never would I have thought I’d reach these heights in life with the feeling of being encumbered several times. Coming from my background, I wanted to change the narrative and install greatness into my son. This one hits me a little different because I’ve accomplished something I said I would do 2 years ago, and that’s introduce my son to the world the proper way. In greatness. One of the top Hip Hop Magazines in the world and my son holds the cover. 🏆🏆 WE F**KING DID IT!!
