Zeitenwende II As Above So Below - As Below So Above Last but not least, the ensemble coming together. Believe it or not, these pictures were not planned. They just worked together. After finishing the Last piece Zeitenwende III (the middle piece) I noticed that I could lay them next to each other. Some minimal adjustments in the connection points and here we are :) This last piece resembles some kind of meeting with the above. Facing God. Infinte Lands of the divine. Corresponding to the common. It is also a coming together. A sacred complementary connection, between what is found below and what is found above. by @okonemii

Zeitenwende III The Eternal Death of a Funny Flower Infinity and Zero are complex concepts. It is very interesting how they are related. For example, you experience a quite baffling paradox every millisecond of your existence. What is always ending, yet never ends? It‘s this Moment. Something yet Nothing. Organized Chaos. A fleeting sensation of flowing reality. But what if this experience inevitably collapses upon you? The eternal moment ending? The moment that ends our experiential material existence, will still let the moment live. So the moment only ends in our awareness of it. Our awareness of time is very relative anyways as some dude used to say. So what if our awareness of time just slowed down, aligning more with that of our elemental ancestors? The result is an eternal experience of death, a moment that never ends, yet already ended. Frozen Souls. An elemental being gliding through Space & Time, never getting anywhere. In this piece you can find a funny flower going through this Non-Experience. It was a pleasure inspiring your nightmares haha :) by @okonemii

Zeitenwende I Nivana is Samsara - Samsara is Nirvana This ensemble of aquarelle paintings was made around tuesday, 22.02.22. 2 days after this symbolic date we were confronted with one of the most gruesome attacks against humanity in recent history. These paintings reflect my subconscious processing the shock that this news brought to the world. I spent this time visiting my friend pablo in munich. The video is from the 24.02.22 and for obvious reasons has a deep connection to the emotions and stories hidden in this first piece. by @okonemii

Input-Output Collection 7-9 7 „IP I: Sad Dystopian Alien Society“ 8 „IP II: Engel & Dämon“ 9 „Telling a story without words & the hidden smoker“ This post is actually more of organizational nature than anything else, so that this hardstuck project can feel some flow again. To make my life easier most of IO will just be inside of stories from now on. IP stands for Imaginary Portraits and will be one of a couple subcategories inside of IO. Subcategories will be counted in roman letters. The numbers do not represent the order of creation but rather the order of publishing. Of course anything else would be utterly ridiculous. For any Idea that has never been shared is as good as no idea at all. Also I‘m way to chaotic to put dates (or even signatures lol) on most of my works, so this wouldn‘t work anyways. IP 1 is the first picture inside of IO, where I actively used another painting as inspiration. H.R. Giger‘s „Mutants“ that you can see on page 4. Obviously I added some eyes and some fun stuff, but I think you can see the resemblance. Usually I like to use IO to give my brain freedom to do what it wants to do, so that I can later look at it and see what I want to tell myself. Like talking to your subconscious. Don‘t know if that makes sense. Doesn’t matter tho. IP 2 was actually really fun as I was dancing most of the time while drawing haha. And yeah IO 9 is basically just a recap of a fun night in Munich. Can you find the hidden smoker tho? It isn‘t easy. Last pic‘s for vinc lol by @okonemii

Mask of the Eternal Ego Sometimes I can be quite confused, that there are people that go on their lives never asking themselves what this life even is. Since I was a small child I couldn‘t help but constantly think about everything that constitutes life. Death, Consciousness, God, the whole fxcking Universe. That‘s a lot of big things to think about, but fortunately there‘s quite some space in my brain. Growing up I was catholic, then with 10 I told my parents that I no longer believed god existed. A couple years later, I saw the flaws of my thoughts and told the world I was agnostic afterwards. Nowadays I probably identify mostly as daoist or nihilist. But really I don‘t know who or what I am. I find it funny that some people are so sure to know themselves, when they only ever met the concept of themselves. And truly every person you think you know, will forever be just a concept in your head of all the times you had the (mis-)fortune to meet this person (Social Media only intensifies this problem of course). When I‘m in a busy street and see people rushing away, I imagine what there life was like, where they came frome, where they are going. And I‘m just building my own concept of this random person. But every one of these beautiful creatures, that has the luck to wander around in existence, has a whole fxcking live to look back and forward to. Heartbreak, Ecstasy, Darkness, Success, Shame, Passion, Hardship, Love, Depression. The first kiss, the last kiss. Saying your first words to your parents & saying your last words to them. All the intricacy’s and nuances of trillions & quadrillions of unique realities. Emotions, physical pain & a whole inner world, all kept in this fragile little body. None of us are concepts, yet we keep on treating each other like we are. We assume so much about each other, yet nobody has the time left to hear what really happened. Maybe it‘s time we stop thinking in concepts and try to approach things as they are. Atleast that‘s what your concept of me thinks. Not that it matters haha Feels good to finally share some poetry. by @okonemii

Input-Output Collection 4-6 4 „Community I“ 5 „Nicaraguan Joker and the After-Swim-Club“ 6 „Senior Jones and the Exploration of Expression feat. Rosengarten“ These 3 pictures all resemble memories, that I‘m very fond of. As I‘m trying to explore different styles in these books, It is just a joy to see what‘s possible and everything that will be possible, when this little side project nears it‘s end. But for now I‘m just starting and there‘s still a lot to explore in this Black and White World. Especially when it comes to generating new patterns and ways of expressing oneself, I feel like I‘m in an endless pool of possibilities. Every time I find a new way, I learn and grow, making me excited for what future might hold for my blank white papers. 👀 by @okonemii

These are 2 beautiful NFT-Artworks by talented Artist @dario_desiena ! Why am I posting this, when it‘s not my art? What are NFT‘s? Basically NFT‘s certify you the ownership of digital goods. I‘ve spent most of the year trying to understand NFT‘s and I can tell you guys, that there is much much more to them than just the digital ownership, but for starters it‘s enough to know. As Dario is one of my favorite Artist in the NFT-Space it is only fitting that his NFT‘s are the first that I show here as part of my own Collection. Also these 2 are perfect examples for the versatility of NFT‘s as they are both quite special. The First one (that is also my Profile Picture, as some of you might‘ve noticed) is actually a NFT-derivative, meaning that this is an artistic reimagining of an already existing NFT from the Alien Boy Collection. I personally don‘t like the artwork from the original alien boy collection, but I love Darios vivid Colors and his style of flow between borders, that‘s why it became one of my favorite NFT‘s that I own to date. The Second NFT is a fractionalized NFT, meaning that there are a maximum of 400 same NFT‘s that are distributed over 344 owners. The real worth of the Artwork is therefore the accumulated price of all of the 400 NFT‘s. This gives people more chance to own a great artwork that would‘ve been otherwise not accessible for them. by @okonemii

Input-Output Collection 1-3 1 „Endstation“ 2 „Senior Jones and the Discovery of Birdperson“ 3 „Dying Bird in Metal World“ It‘s been quite some time since I posted here, but I‘ve got some thing‘s prepared for the next weeks including some of my favorite NFT‘s 👀 I used this Book to just have a simple Output, while working on some other stuff. I‘ve tried to experiment with different styles, 3-Dimensionality and Shading, while trying to put it all together in a way that let‘s the observer interpret the picture, depending on where he looks. Drawing in Black and White gave me the freedom to concentrate more on the forms and stories than on the coloring of the picture. But let‘s see maybe someday, someone will color them for me 👀 I had a lot of fun doing these so there‘s definitely gonna be more of them in the near future. 😄 The Last picture is Senior Jones discovering Birdperson. „Melancholy Drawings 1-5“ Charcoal on Paper I made these drawings about 4-5 years ago. When i look at them, it almost feels like i‘m back there. Back at a time where I was starting with my struggle to find meaning in the countless riddles that existence has forced upon us. Thoughts of Companionship and Loneliness, Family, Tragedy, Melancholy and Tranquility can all be found here, but also a certain helplessness and inability to act in the face of adversity. Maybe trying to accept things u can‘t change. It‘s just funny how I keep coming back to the same questions, always trying to solve the same riddles. Maybe I don‘t even want the answers anymore. At this point I‘m probably just as addicted to the bittersweet tastes of Melancholy and Sadness as I am to cigarettes. Let‘s see what kills me first haha by @okonemii
