It is with great sadness and regret to share that Goma passed away on 4/23/26 due to an accident.

He has been the greatest love of my life over the past 6 years and will be deeply missed. I can only hope he knew how much I loved him and hope he had a very happy life.

I’m happy he had the chance to make so many friends, both human and dog.

To my dear Goma, I will miss you forever and I hope you can forgive your dad for not being better at protecting you. I hope that you can frap to your heart’s content now on the other side of the rainbow bridge chasing squirrels and eating endless furikake Chex mix from grandma. by @okonomitaka

今年は色んなことができて本当に感謝してる。今年2週間日本に帰ったり国内旅行が2回できたりマラソンを完成したりたくさん友達に会ったりしました。来年もっと頑張らないともっとできるように。

The head chef and baker from Pomet have opened their own place and it’s one of the best restaurants in the Bay! This is a meal I won’t be forgetting anytime soon! #sunmoonstudio #oaklandeats #westoakland #bayareaeats #oaklandfood by @okonomitaka

One of the best value for a pre fixe menu I’ve had was at Slow&Low in Barcelona. Definitely recommend the Slow&Long upgrade which came with 3 desserts tasting. #slowandlowbcn #slowandlongmenu by @okonomitaka
