On September 11, 1865, three cadets at the Virginia Military Institute, Otis Allan Glazebrook, Alfred Marshall, and Erskine Mayo Ross, founded Alpha Tau Omega with the belief that a nation torn apart could be healed through brotherhood, love, and reconciliation. They were the first fraternity founded after the Civil War, and they built it not on region or politics, but on Christian principles and the conviction that men could be bound together by something greater than their differences.

161 years later, that purpose still holds. Today, as we honor Founders’ Day, we also pause to reflect on the tragic event that took place 25 years ago, which should remind all of us the fragility of life and the enduring strength of our bonds. We lift our prayers for our nation and for all affected, striving to move forward in unity and faith, guided by the timeless principles of ATO.

With summer officially in the books, we’re highlighting what some of our brothers were up to. Their hard work and dedication earned them some great opportunities across the country. They’ve represented Epsilon Omicron well every step of the way! We look forward to this semester as they’re continuing their professional careers
