I made this crazy cleaver several years ago. Thought I'd pull it out of the drawer and carry it today. I think about changing the design a little, but then I kinda like it the way it is. What do you think? Same shape, different handle, different finish?

When too many things start distracting you and making you lose focus on what's important, you need to do a reset. Reset your priorities and get back to the things and people you love. My wife and I got to spend a day together sun-up to sun-down and we loved every minute of it. Grateful for my wife.

Lots of hand sanding and polishing to get this finish on some sweet Gomai from @bakerforgeandtool

Nickel Shim Chevron Gomai from @bakerforgeandtool with some in-house scales made of Desert Ironwood, Trustone and G10. And who wants to hide such beautiful steel, so let's put that thang in a clear sheath.

Being that I work full time, over the last few years I've been able to reinvest back into Ol' Glory Knives in order to set up the shop with the proper equipment to achieve the best quality possible. This Hardness Tester has been a long time coming. Now I can really fine tune the heat treating process.

One step at a time. Never give up!

Had the pleasure of making this custom Runt for a friend. She gave me a few items she collected along the shore and said, "Be creative, I look forward to having a piece of your artwork." I love having the freedom to imagine and create. Gotta give my wife credit for helping me with color combos and the "Beach Life" photo idea. What a fun project.
