Some stories are written with words…
and some are written with the heart ❤️

This book was never just a project.
It was a feeling I carried with me… long after the moments had passed.

Ute was not just someone I cared for.
She became part of my life in a way I can’t fully explain…
in the quiet days, in the small conversations, in the moments that needed no words.

Through her, I learned what true care really means.
Not just helping… but being present, patient, and human.

I wrote this book as a tribute to her.
As a way to keep her memory alive…
and to honor everything she gave me without even trying.

This is more than a caregiver’s story.
This is a story of connection, love, and quiet strength.

Silence is not weakness. Sometimes, it is self-respect.

Mother’s Day feels different when your mother is no longer here.

You stop missing just the big things.
You miss the ordinary moments no one talks about.

Her voice in another room.
The way she asked if you ate.
The small prayers she whispered over you without you even noticing.

Some people celebrate today.
