FOOTBALL NO GET ENEMY
.
.
.
I’ve been a bit tennis obsessed lately, but don’t get it twisted. Football (soccer) will always be my first love. The teks are a bit rusty but I still have a few tricks in the bag 😎

I film a lot of things that never get edited or see the world. So if you see this, like it 😁

The World Cup is coming to a close this weekend 😭 but that means the @mls season is back in session and I can FINALLY share that I played a small part in a very dope campaign welcoming fans back into our domestic league!

Soccer (football) has been a HUGE part of my life the past 25ish years, my first love, my path to college, and a sport that has brought me so much joy (and pain) and lifelong friendships. To be a part of this project was an honor and privilege! 🥹🤯

Massive shouts to the team at @nameandnumber for their amazing work, hospitality, and professionalism on this production 💪🏽

You can see this spot during all the MLS broadcasts on Apple TV and FOX as the season kicks back into high gear.

Two things

1️⃣ - Been on a journey of developing a tennis game (read as tennis obsession) and it’s been a lot of fun, but also really frustrating as a life long athlete who has always felt naturally good at every sport I’ve tried playing. Tennis has taught me patience, discipline and focus. Really starting to love this game.

2️⃣ - I’m trying to be more “vulnerable” in sharing creative ideas and projects online. There’s a perfectionist who lives inside my head that always says “it’s not ready yet, keep polishing” and that voice inside my head is holding me back. I’m tryin to listen to that voice anymore.

Thanks to everyone who has been with me along this tennis journey thus far in Denver and Chicago @terrence23hawthorne @ygportillo @bbb_therealthing @hashtagthisiswhyihaveaclubfoot @quinnderek @zsourflower @malcsmithh @hoykimpoy @et.chicago @altheaandarthursaces @tbanksmultis

Sorry if I missed tagging anyone!

Little Bit Of This, Little Bit Of That, Whole Lotta Motion

May was a month filled with adoration, appreciation, celebration, and absolutely no hateration.

Life has a lot of ups and downs and I’m trying not to let the downs define the experience so this is me reminding myself of that. by @oladle

There’s a first time for everything and TODAY is the first time (and hopefully not the last) I’ll be showing some artwork and DJing in Chicago at @shft_behavioralhealth in River North. If you’re free this evening come thru!

The work I’ll be showing is a self portrait I originally created for the 2024 staff art show at MCA Denver titled “In My Own Head” by @oladle
