Chapter 20.

Wow.

Twenty years ago, God looked at the world and decided it needed me in it. And twenty years later, I'm still here......not because I've always been strong, not because life has always been easy, but simply because God has been faithful.

Today, my heart is so full.

I look back at my life and see God's fingerprints everywhere. In the prayers He answered, in the prayers He didn't answer, in the doors He opened, in the doors He closed, and even in the moments when I felt alone and didn't realize He was carrying me.

There were days I didn't think I would make it through. Days filled with tears, disappointment, confusion, and fear. Yet somehow, here I am. Breathing. Growing. Becoming.

And if there's one thing I know for sure, it's that God loves me.

Not because I've earned it. Not because I'm perfect. But because He chose me, and He has never stopped choosing me.

Sometimes I sit and wonder how a God so big could care so deeply about someone like me. Yet every day, in countless ways, He reminds me that I am seen, known, protected, and loved.

As I turn 20, I am overwhelmed with gratitude.

Grateful for every year, every lesson, every blessing, every heartbreak that taught me something, every victory that strengthened my faith, and every person who has been part of my journey.

I'm grateful for my family. I'm grateful for my friends. I'm grateful for the people who stayed, the people who left, and the people who helped shape me into who I am today.

I may not be where I dream of being yet, but I am no longer where I used to be. And that alone is worth celebrating.

So today, I don't just celebrate my birthday. I celebrate God's faithfulness. I celebrate His mercy. I celebrate His endless love that has carried me through twenty beautiful years.

Cheers to Chapter 20❣

To more growth. To more healing. To more purpose. To more dreams. To becoming everything God created me to be.

And above all, to never forgetting that every good thing in my life begins and ends with Him.

Thank You, Lord, for twenty years of love.

My heart could never thank You enough. by @olami20069

Good Friday❤️❤️❤️

Christ died for everybody.
Not just Christians. Not just the “perfect” ones.
Everybody.
I believe Good Friday is a holy day unto the Lord.....
a day to reference the One who died for our sins even before we were born.
He took our transgressions upon Himself.
By His wounds, we were made whole.
He bore our pain, our grief, our sickness......🥺everything!!!
And whether you are a Christian or not, whether you are Muslim or not,
you have to have it at the back of your mind that
somebody, somewhere, died for you.

And if you are not in that awareness…
if you are not yet in that truth…
you are losing.
You are on the wrong path.
This is not to condemn you....
but how do you keep living like nothing happened
when everything was already done for you???

And yes....sometimes life feels overwhelming.
Nigeria is hard. Life is hard.
But I’m not speaking as someone who has it all figured out.
I’m speaking as someone who is aware.
Aware that God has a plan for my life.
Aware that His truth sets me free.
Aware, and I will not be shaken.
Because somebody already paid the price.

And like IBQUAKE said:
“And this is the testament that God is good,
and there is nothing you Juju can do.
His blood speaks better things than that of Abel.
We stand gallant, because our senior man is able.....
He who speaks to mountains and they move…
We ask for mercy but on top Calvary.....mercy full 🔥 🔥
He who is merciful and good............🤲 the ever compassionate Lord

And guess what.....it didn’t end there.
Christ died… but He rose again.
And that is the beauty.
That is the joy of every believer.
That is why we are proud to say it.
That is why we are proud to be called Christians.
Because it didn’t end in the grave.
He rose again.
And one day…
one day we will go and join Him
and reign with Him in His glory.
So today is not just about eating.
It is not just another holiday.
It is a call to remember.
A call to be thankful.
A call to return glory to your Maker.
A call to awareness ❤
Because even when you didn’t know…
even when you were still in the womb…
He already chose you.

So the question is🤔
Are you aware of what was done for you?
Or are you still living like it never happ by @olami20069

TAKE THE LIMITS OFF 🔥

Today is the first Sunday and the first day of March.
What a powerful way to step into a new month.
Let me say this clearly...
Don’t enter this month with small expectations.

💥They turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. Psalm 78:41

Read that again.👆
They limited God.

Take this as an illustration 👇
You send a young boy to fetch water from a mighty river.
Instead of taking a big container, he goes with a small cup.
He comes back with only what the cup can carry.
Now tell me…
Did the river reduce?
Did the river dry up?
Did the river lack capacity?
No.
The problem was not the river.
The problem was the size of what he came with.
This is how many of us approach God.
💥Psalm 78:41 says they “limited the Holy One of Israel.”
How do you limit an unlimited God?
💥By your thinking.
💥By your expectations.
💥By what you believe He can do for you.
You pray, “God, just give me 10k"
And heaven is saying, There is more.
You pray: “God, if I can pass this exam, I’m fine.”
But what if God’s plan is not just to make you pass? What if He wants you to excel? To open doors beyond that exam? To position you for something bigger?
But because your mind has already settled at “just passing,” that’s where you stop.

How often do we say...... “This is as far as I can go.” “This is the best it will ever be.” “I’ve reached my limit....stop limiting yourself

You keep begging for a cup, when he wants to flow in your belly rivers of Living water..........OMG🤭
You are the child of a King, you can't be living like a pauper
Stop begging for peanuts
Level up!!!🤌
If you want to rise to new levels, your thinking has to rise first.Feed your faith. Study His Word. Meditate on His promises. Align your thoughts with His truth.

A lot of us ask small. We believe small. We expect small.
And God meets us at the level of our faith.
Don’t reduce an unlimited God to your limited imagination.
Enlarge your capacity. Stretch your faith. Think beyond survival.
God is not trying to manage you. He is a God of increase.

Take the limits off.🔥🔥
Inspired by today’s devotion.....❣Essa 🖊 🖋
Welcome to your month of increase 🔥

Everyday is a Gift🎁

Today, I reminded myself that everyday is a gift.
Not because life is easy, but because I still have another chance.

Life can be tough.
Demanding.
Tiring.
Even exhausting.
It is so easy to allow small things creep in and steal our joy.
That insult you received on your way to work.
That assignment you worked so hard on but nobody commended.
The effort you invested that went unnoticed.
The disappointment.
But don’t let temporary moments steal an eternal gift.
The psalmist said,........Lord, teach me to number my days…
So I won’t waste them in anger.
So I won’t let worthless things steal my joy.
So I won’t let one insult ruin a whole day You gave me.

If you focus only on the bad, you will miss the good.
You will miss the warmth.
The love.
The freedom.
The peace that comes with a new dawn.
When the day breaks, it is not ordinary.
Many people wished to see today… but didn’t have the privilege.
So protect your peace and be thankful 🙏 ✨
Don’t let one moment of anger ruin a whole day God gave you.
Don’t wait for birthdays or anniversaries before you show love.
Everyday is an opportunity to care.
To forgive.
To live right.
Live like Christ could come today.
Live simply.
Live selflessly.
Let your life be the kind that makes people want to know your God.
Education will come and go.
Money will come and go.
Opportunities will come and go.
But life?
Life is once.
So be grateful for today.
See the gift in it.
And don’t let small frustrations blind you to big blessings.
Everyday is a Blessing. 🎁

Faith, Friendship and Discernment🤔🤔🤔

We are called to love everyone.
We don’t hate unbelievers.
We don’t isolate ourselves from them.
We don’t act superior or self-righteous.
We make friends with them. We relate with them. We show Christ through our character.
But Scripture never called us to give everyone access to our inner life.
Fellowship is deeper than friendship.
Fellowship shapes your thinking, your values, your decisions, and ultimately your destiny.
As believers, we must be intentional about who influences us.
Not everyone should advise you.
Not everyone should speak into your faith.
Not everyone should help you make life-defining decisions.
Because influence is subtle.
What you listen to repeatedly will eventually lead you.
What you allow around you consistently will shape you.
That’s why we don’t allow unbelievers to dictate our choices, redefine our convictions, or pull us away from the standards God has set.
Not because we’re better.......but because we are guarding what God has entrusted to us.
You can love people without lowering your standards.
You can be kind without being compromised.
You can be friendly without being spiritually intimate.
As Christians, our closest circle should strengthen our faith, not weaken it.
Our counsel should push us toward God, not away from Him.
Our fellowship should sharpen us, not confuse us.
This isn’t hatred.
This is wisdom.
This is obedience.
This is guarding your heart.
Love broadly. Fellowship wisely. Choose influence carefully. ✨

🎧 Inspired by “EL” by Anendlessocean
Before the seed breaks the ground,
before the harvest ever shows up
He is already there.
Present in beginnings we don’t understand
and endings we didn’t plan for.
Not limited by numbers, not intimidated by size.
Just as present in the little as He is in the many.
He is not waiting for history to introduce Him.
He is the Author
and the strength that carries things to completion.
So what power do we really have to hold onto?
In the wild and in the quiet.
In open fields and guarded places.
With the ones who lead
and the ones who follow.
Behind us when we survive,
ahead of us when we’re afraid to move.
Present in confined spaces
and seated in places of honor.
Seen and unseen.
Outside of us, yet living within.
Mercy where we’ve failed.
Correction where we’ve wandered.
Strength in battle.
Stability when everything shakes.
If He is the center,
why would anything else be our focus?
So when the ground feels uncertain
and the future asks questions we can’t answer 🥹
who else makes sense to turn to?
Who do else do we look up to?
Who do we rely on if not God our maker🙇🏼‍♀️
Who else is safe to run to?.........😔🙏

EL.
Always present.
Always enough.

"LOVE" ❤ ❤

Love is not noise.
It’s not always loud promises or big gestures.
Most times, love is quiet.
Love is patience.
It’s choosing to stay kind even when it’s hard.
It’s choosing understanding over pride.
Love is not just how you feel..
it’s how you act.
How you speak.
How you treat people when there’s nothing to gain.
Real love shows up.
It listens.
It forgives.
It gives room for growth.
Love doesn’t rush people.
It doesn’t force timing.
It doesn’t compete or compare.
And love is not weakness.
It takes strength to love in a world that rewards coldness.
It takes courage to stay soft in a hard place.
Love starts with God.
When you understand His love,
you learn how to love yourself,
and then how to love others properly.
So choose love.
In your words.
In your actions.
In the way you live.
Because at the end of the day,
what truly lasts
is love. by @olami20069

Focus is quiet.🤍
It does not shout.
It does not demand attention.
Focus is the small voice
that says, keep going,
even when distractions scream,
even when the world pulls you in a hundred directions.
Focus is patience.
It is persistence.🙌
It is saying no to what does not matter
so you can say yes to what truly does.
Focus is like a lens..
it sharpens blurry dreams
and turns scattered thoughts
into clear steps forward.
Without focus, talent is wasted.
Without focus, effort drifts like leaves in the wind.
But with focus,
even the impossible bends,
even mountains move,
even dreams breathe life.
Focus is not perfection.
It is progress.
It is consistency.
It is the quiet power that turns a whisper of a goal
into a roar of achievement.
So protect your focus.
Guard it fiercely.
And never let distractions steal your peace.
Because your life moves
in the direction of where your focus flows🤗😍

BE FOCUSED ❤️ by @olami20069

Prayer🙏😍

Prayer is not just words.
It is not noise.
It is not something we do only when life becomes hard.
Prayer is a relationship.
Prayer is where strength is renewed
when the body is tired.
It is where peace is found
when the mind is noisy.
Some people think prayer changes God.
But most times, prayer changes us.
It aligns our hearts,
it calms our fears,
it reminds us that we are not alone.
When you pray, you may not see answers immediately,
but something always happens.
Your heart becomes lighter.
Your hope becomes stronger.
Your faith becomes steadier.
Prayer is not only for emergencies.
It is for everyday life.
For decisions.
For confusion.
For gratitude.
For direction.
You don’t need perfect words to pray.
You don’t need long speeches.
Sometimes prayer is just,
“God, help me.”
And that is enough.
Even when people fail you,
prayer never does.
Even when doors close,
prayer opens peace within you.
So never underestimate prayer.
Never abandon it.
Because prayer is not your last option...
it is your greatest weapon
and your safest place..........Have a nice day ❤️ by @olami20069

A Talk on Kindness
Never stop being kind.
Not because people deserve it,but because it is who you are.
Sometimes, when you’re kind to people, they take it for granted.
Some even mistake your kindness for weakness.
They use it, ignore it, or forget it.
But don’t let that change you.
The reward for kindness is not always here on earth.
Sometimes, it’s not in “thank you,” not in appreciation, not in return.
The true reward is with God in heaven, where nothing good is ever forgotten.
Being kind costs nothing.
And being wicked also costs nothing.
But one leaves a scar, and the other leaves a legacy.
When you are gone, people may not remember how rich you were,
or how loud you spoke,
but they will remember how you made them feel.
They will remember your kindness.
Kindness doesn’t always mean money or gifts.
You can be kind with words.
You can be kind with encouragement.
You can be kind by checking up on someone,
by listening,
by choosing patience instead of anger.
That small act you think is nothing
may be everything to someone else.
So don’t stop being kind because people hurt you.
Don’t harden your heart because of disappointment.
Stay kind.
It goes a long way, farther than you can see. by @olami20069

Seek God first —in your youth.
Not when life becomes quieter.
Not when you’re “ready.”
Not after you’ve tried everything else and it didn’t work.
Now.
Youth is full of questions, pressure, comparison, confusion, dreams that feel too big, and fears we don’t always say out loud. It’s a season where the world is loud about what you should chase money, validation, success, relationships, pleasure. Everyone is telling you, “You have time.” But God is gently saying, “Come to Me.”
Seeking God first doesn’t mean you have everything figured out. It means you choose direction over distraction. It means you let God shape your values before the world reshapes them for you. It means you build roots before storms come.
When you seek God in your youth, He teaches you who you are before life tries to define you. He guards your heart, orders your steps, and gives wisdom beyond your years. You learn to listen before rushing, to trust before striving, and to wait without losing hope.
This season matters. The prayers you pray now matter. The habits you form now matter. The God you seek now will guide the future you’re walking into.
“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth.”
Don’t postpone God.
Don’t sideline Him.
Seek Him first.... and let everything else find its place. 🤍 by @olami20069
