I spent 2 nights in NYC, with a full day to explore the city🗽New York City was everything I imagined and moreee! Do you struggle with packing for a trip? I got you! As a chronic over-packer (haha), I had to find a way to fit everything I need without those annoying extra baggage fees.One thing that helps? Creating a mood board for my outfits! Here’s how I do it:•Open a Canva board•Select the clothes you want to bring•Find images, either from Pinterest, the store you bought them from, or similar styles online and add them to the board•Look for shoes and accessories to complete the looks•Check Pinterest for outfit inspo and see how others have styled similar piecesSo, for your next trip, start a month ahead, pull up Canva and Pinterest, and build yourself a mood board. It’s not the easiest thing to do (you’ll have to mentally prep for your trip too), but trust me, it makes packing so much easier! 🔊Long video & a late post Hahh World Cancer Day feels different for me.#jan4 My mum went home exactly a month before, and every year, that coincidence sits quietly in my heart. Three years later, and we still miss her deeply. We still love her endlessly. We feel her absence like never before. There are parts of that story I’ve never shared before. I was there when she took her final breath, and somehow my spirit already knew I would be, I remember telling my sister I didn’t want to be there. Even before it happened, I felt God preparing my heart with a strength I didn’t know I had.One day, maybe I’ll tell that story fully. But for now, I’m just grateful, grateful that God has carried us, protected us, and held us through every season of grief and healing.To everyone whose lives have been touched by cancer, today I hold you gently in my prayers 🤍Forever loved.
