Attendees will experience forming clay with hand building techniques, coil and slab. Followed by getting up to speed with the potters wheel. I can’t wait!!
-
Only three places for each of the autumn term courses are available now.
Small classes mean plenty of chance for questions.

Thank you for the overwhelming response. As a result of your feedback, we are looking at day and evening classes starting on a regular basis from the end of October.

The Old Brewery is SO thrilled to introduce our next resident artist whom many of you will know. In Helen's own words....

Hi I am Helen Stephens @helenstephenspal

I am an author, illustrator and picture book maker, best known for my ‘How to Hide a Lion’ series, ‘Smelly Peggy’ and ‘Salty Dog and Pals’. Most of my books are inspired by my life in Berwick and they sell all over the world, in about 25 languages so far.

I am also one third of @thegoodshipillustration, an online art school that I run with my pals @tania.willis and @katiedraws. We work with artists and illustrators worldwide and we are very excited about having a space to invite our community for IRL workshops!

I LOVE sketchbooking and started the #walktosee hashtag project to celebrate drawings made from life in a sketchbook. It has a whopping 123k contributions so far!

So with all these projects I have well and truly outgrown my workshop in the garden and am very excited to get properly stuck into my new studio space!
