A little Tuesday afternoon eye 🍭😉 What?! I was bored, doc told me to take it easy after the heart attack last week. So I am. Hey folks. This is a pic of my @holosun_optics SCS on my S&W M&P 2.0 Carry Comp. For whatever reason, it’s had these “specks” since I got it, and seems to have gotten worse over the last few months? As you can see, they look like dust particles, but they won’t come off. They are especially noticeable when it’s set on the brightest setting. I’ve never cleaned it with anything other than the original cleaning cloth, as the owners manual directs you to. I’ve never used any kind of chemicals (I tape up the optic every time I clean it) I haven’t even used compressed air to clean it, again just the included cleaning cloth, so it’s been babied as much as humanly possible. Anyway, have any of you guys/girls had or have this issue. I’ve had a few other optics over the last few years. None of them them have had this issue? Anyway if anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate any experience you’ve had with these optics. I can work around the specks, it’s just distracting, and I wondered if anyone has ran into the same or similar issues. *I DO NOT SELL FIREARMS” by @old_head_edc

First off I’m extremely picky about what products I support and post. That being said, @velocitasusa just happens to be one of those products. I bought these to try out a couple of months ago, and I can say with the utmost honesty…the VX9 Self Defense ammo may very well be the best SD ammo I’ve ever shot!! Nothing is even a close second imho. The best part is, when shooting them out of a comped and or ported gun like mine. There is zero shrapnel thru my ports. I just can say enough things about them! All that being said, go out and get ya some! If ya do, let me know what you think. Hopefully you’ll be as impressed as I am. *I DO NOT SELL FIREARMS* by @old_head_edc

I mean just look at it!!! She’s mine but I can honestly say the folks @smithandwesson_fanatics @smithandwessoninc have knocked it out of the park and into the windshield of a parked car in the parking lot with the M&P Carry Comp line. Absolute favorite EDC pistol I’ve ever owned. That and the fact Luke @abnormalgunworks worked his magic it shoots and handles like an absolute dream! Civivi Elite Brova @civiviknife pardon the shaky hand and crappy video mix. Killer blade regardless. S35VN blade, hollow ground, stone washed push button top frame lock, grey aluminum handle, with blue trim. Came out of the box amazingly sharp. And the action is crazy good🤘🏼 by @old_head_edc

And now we interrupt our regularly scheduled programing to bring you…the latest edition to old head edc family…ladies and gentlemen…I give you waffles! She a a 2lb 4 oz Chocolate Sable Yorkshire Terrier. She’s 9 weeks old. We waited 2.5 years after losing our last little guy at 16. Waffles was way over due. ❤️ by @old_head_edc

I can’t say enough good things about @abnormalgunworks. If you need/want any mods, hit him up, you won’t regret it. One of the coolest guys in the 2A community that I’ve met imho. These are the inline ports he just did as well as opening up the comp. Thanks to @chasingdeltas for turning me on to him. I mean just look at it 🤩 *I do not sell firearms* by @old_head_edc

Running errands stayin strapped and very comfortably seated. I can’t say enough good things about this set up. One of my favorites ever. Especially the with the @aegitecdefense EDC belt. If you haven’t checked them out I highly recommend doing so. Most comfortable carry belt I’ve ever owned. Just the right stiffness and just the right flex, gotta be careful not to forget I’m carrying with this thing. Especially when the heat indexes are bumpin a buck ten 🥵. It’s a very minimal rig and it hides like it’s in trouble. Also rockin a @muddyrivertactical holster, and my beloved @smithandwessoninc M&P 2.0 Carry Comp. For an EDC it just doesn’t get much better for me. 🤌 by @old_head_edc
