To say that the boys had a great morning was an understatement. Neither one slept much in anticipation of this hunt. Big shout out to Mike Klesner for being an inspiration and waterfowl mentor for these young sportsmen! Beau Berry has learned to love this sport. He has made several trips with me to Texas for our annual crane hunt. Everyone knows Pierson aka Meat alone is totally bit upon whitetails. This morning was his first waterfowl hunt and I believe he is addicted! Anyhow congrats guys Grandpa is super proud of you! by @oldbarntaxidermy

The Senescence of Being Older:

Half retired, still stubborn, and loving every single minute of it!

There is a unique beauty in this chapter of life—where the drama fades, the wisdom grows, and the simple pleasures take center stage.
Here is to:

• More freedom to spend time exactly how you want.
• Cold drinks and long conversations on the porch.
• A loyal dog by your side through it all.
• Beautiful places that remind us to slow down and enjoy the view.
Age is just a number, but the peace that comes with it is unmatched. 🥃🐕✨
