hope ya’ll are having a good weekend. Right now me and the misses been celebrating making it into the top 50 for this years indigo invitational. Always humbled and definitely feeling blessed by the denim gods for making it this far. So I decided to do something a little different this year, if I clear that top 20 I’m going to post a short lil’ video of me, myself, and I ingesting a Carolina reaper…and by the books it’s the third hottest pepper in the world. You’re gonna see that old boy real blue with real tears. Anyways ya’ll cheers and have one helluva weekend! 🍻

I was absolutely floored by the competition this year! Seems like everyone just keeps getting better and better. Ya’ll deserve a huge round of applause. Myself I’m just trying to hang with ya’ll. Big ups to @cultizm for these bad boys. @theflathead1996 for making one of my favorite pairs of denim. The 8004’s are so damn beefy but incredible tender and soft on the legs. I hope I did em justice. Big thanks to Bryan @indigoinvitational and all of you who finished this damn thing. Labor Day weekend! Let’s get it ya’ll 🍻

One of the most wonderful weekends a feller could ask for. Me and the misses followed our hearts deep into some of the wildest places West Virginia could offer. We drank good wine, climbed mountains, even went on a bike trip, kissed some waterfalls, and fell in love all over again. Thank you for always supporting me and keeping this madman wild! I love you darling!

hot sauce is my drug of choice, I take it everywhere with me. this year I went on a journey growing my first Carolina reapers along with some orange habaneros and ghost chillis. wanted to make something special with it all, so I cooked up the “peach boy.” It’s a combination of grilled peaches, grilled corn, Carolina reapers, orange habaneros, sweet peppers, distilled vinegar, orange juice, honey, Himalayan pink sea salt, cumin, paprika, and tumeric. Gonna start the labeling soon and hopefully by next year I’ll get the sales process rolling. Small batch hot sauce made by yours truly. Cheers ya’ll 🍻

most saturdays I end up in the studio first thing in the morning. lately it’s been the white suit when I paint which has created this lovely crease filled pattern of paint smattering, oil, and all sorts of debris and junk. Me and Etta (my old git box) are taking a well deserved break on the old back porch. these lovely @helmboots have been supporting my ass the whole trip….now it’s time to have a few cold ones and catch some fish. Cheers ya’ll 🍻

It’s hard to believe it’s been 7 months already. Time flies when you’re cookin’ denim.
Wabash is a hard thing to crack but when it goes it goes! This jacket always has me thinking bout “Train Dreams.” One of the only jackets I’d consider running for re-pair. Looking for that Caribbean blue is a sea of dots. At a light 10 oz this bad boy has been a kind lover in this summer heat. Hope ya’ll surviving out there! Kinder months are ahead 🍻

Sometimes the jeans become a second skin…well folks were rounding the last few months @indigoinvitational and the competition this year has been crazy good. My flat heads have been hanging on for dear life, while heel of repairs and more to come. Hooked into a nice largemouth today and that sob went a’ running. Still doing a lil’ new boot goofin’ in the @helmboots makes me feel like a new man after years of wearing the same ol’ boots. Cheers ya’ll and check the bio if you’re interested in a pair 🍻
