WV, USA. Just for cross stitch and other crafty fun!

WIP. Almost done. Pattern from Primrose Cottage. I have the finishing kit to go with it. But the main fabric has tiny spiders, which I do not like. They actually kinda look like ticks. Ick. by @oldcrowhomesteadstitcher

Finished "part 1" (see previous post) except for the flag pillow because I ran completely out of GAST Chalk and need to order more. I don't seem to have a DMC white equivalent to replace it with and I want it to all match. 😚 by @oldcrowhomesteadstitcher

Stitched up "part 2" of the patriotic series from Abby Rose Designs: Long May She Wave.

On 32 count unknown linen. It's light gray.

Planning to use as bowl fillers, little pillow finishes. by @oldcrowhomesteadstitcher

Will I ever finish this!? It's been years, I don't know how many. I really hate the linen I picked, but I got too far along to scrap it when I realized I hated the fabric. So I pick it up every spring and get a few more stitches in determined to finish it. 😆🙄 Rinse and repeat. Also the grass is so boring to stitch and I may run out of WDW scuppernong and will need to order another skein. 😵‍💫 by @oldcrowhomesteadstitcher

Happy New Year 2025! I put a tiny sugar candy in my sparkling grape juice, I like the cute lil pizzazz! ** I've been sick since NYE and it sucks. Getting tired of my bed! I think I'm on the upswing thankfully. 🙏🏻 Just in time for more snow storms. 🙁 I'm done with winter already. 😂 I can tell it's going to be a long January and February. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm trying to play catch up on Instagram, so if I like something of yours from last week, I'm not a stalker. 😝 by @oldcrowhomesteadstitcher

So I made some ornaments on wood slices. A penguin and a couple snowmen. I need a lot more practice painting! These looked easy enough to try, I've seen them on Pinterest. I also got larger slices but most of them cracked after getting a little paint on them. 😞 I got some wood filler today to see if it would help "fix" them. 🤞🏻 by @oldcrowhomesteadstitcher

The 2024 Stitchy Christmas box came today! The theme is Farmhouse Christmas and it was so exciting to open it! It's a really fun gift to yourself.

Sharing, but not revealing much! I don't want to spoil it for others. Just teasers. 🫣🎄🎅🏻 There's lots of stitchy accessories and a few patterns. There's also a couple finishing boards. The main pattern comes with all the fancy floss, it is from #stitchingwiththehousewives . @scarletskydesignstx puts the boxes together, they were preorder on her Etsy shop. by @oldcrowhomesteadstitcher

Working on: Cocoa and Cookies from Primrose Cottage (newsletter freebie). I bought the floss and fabric kit for it, I picked 18 count Aida. I don't often stitch on Aida but I thought I'd go for something different this time, and we had no idea what the pattern was yet! I was guessing maybe something with gingerbread. I was wrong lol. I bought the finishing kit too, but it didn't become available until the pattern was released so it's in the mail. by @oldcrowhomesteadstitcher

I got the cutest pumpkin kitty project bag from Jessica at itismejmb on Etsy. Isn't the fabric just adorable!? I call my cat Grace "pumpkin head" from the song Marshmallow World. 🧡 So I had to get it. 😆 by @oldcrowhomesteadstitcher
