This is my Loretta bag from @shamballabags that I made during the secret sew. I don’t normally sew with black or charcoal grey, but you had to choose your fabrics before seeing a picture of the bag. I had enough black on hand and thought if I don’t like the bag it wouldn’t be a waste of my fabrics. I do like the bag very much, even in black and will be making another one soon - in brown!

I recently had the opportunity to pattern test The Demelza handbag for Country Cow Designs.

Great pattern to follow, no curved bottoms to wrestle with but enough detail to keep me happy. I liked the pleats at the front and the choice to make the bag a little smaller by pulling in the sides with the press studs. It’s big, comfy and practical for so many things.

🌟BOTTLE SLING RELEASE🌟 COUNTRY COW DESIGNS 🌟

I was invited to test the new Bottle Sling pattern for Country Cow Designs. It is a great pattern, easy to cut out and sew, with a few details (piping and adding the front bottle pocket) to make it an interesting sew.

I used canvas on the front and denim on the back, with just a little quilting. The bag is comfortable to wear because of the padding and the wide strap for your shoulder.
