Teaching people how to foil can sometimes be more fun than actually foiling. Sometimes. This was day one, first session. Abe is the fastest learner I have ever seen. Planning ahead!

Took my first hollow downwind SUP(6’3”x 25”, back when DW SUPs were short and wide) and reshaped it into an even more hollow 6,10”- 7’ x 21.5” parawing board for long coastal adventures. The ability to carry 3 parawings and a paddle opens up doors to longer and longer excursions! I can’t wait for warmer weather! by @oldfoildog

So much fun celebrating my daughter Sophie’s birthday with a skating party and picnic on Sebago Lake. Having the kick sled made hauling all the goodies a breeze! The ice is perfect if you find yourself within reach. by @oldfoildog

The lack of fear about doing things alone but definitely wish others were there to share in the fun.

2 degrees F, 15-25 mph wind, wind chill- - 25 F. Pushaw Lake. First time using this little 4.3 M wing. Can’t wait to try it in the water.
Highlight of the day- bumping into my buddy Alden riding a much bigger wing and painting a pretty picture cruising around on the wind blown snow. Yes! It’s always more fun when sharing! taken in Pushaw Lake, Glenburn by @oldfoildog

Maine Downwinding!

Typically a solo sport up this way. Hence the bike shuttle. The “gales of November”, geesh! Why couldn’t they be the “gales of August “?
