Late post : For Christmas, I made my dad a fisherman knit beanie . I used this silky acrylic yarn that I had for years . I love the detail on this beanie . I feel like the men’s patterns out there are sparse so I’m excited that I was able to make this for one of my most favorite dear people in my life. by @oldhookandneedle

Finished my step by step sweater pattern by Homemade by Florence.❄️ I used Caron one pound yarn in this pattern. This is my first knitted garment, which is very exciting !! by @oldhookandneedle

Other things that I’ve finished over the break : knitted cowl for my mom and a crochet pullover for my sister. The cowl pattern is the All the Vines pattern from Ashley Lillis, and the pullover is my own creation. by @oldhookandneedle

Knitting and crocheting around Norway. 🧶🇳🇴 First, I was able to finish a farmers market bag for my friend with Lily’s sugar and creme in the cream color. Then, I just finished a cozy sweater for my boyfriend with 8 skeins of green red heart yarn . Next, I was able to give a shout to my Norwegian roots with this 1994 Winter Olympics Salt Lake City Norway team Dale of Norway sweater . Lastly, I picked up a sheep sock pattern in Lillehammer and I have been working on that project with double pointed needles and Hillsvåg Ullvarefabrikk Fjord Sock yarn. taken in Oslo, Norway by @oldhookandneedle

Just finished a freehanded full length dress this week. Took about 1.5 months using Bernat baby yarn, which is a weight 3. I was able to use half double crochet , waffle stitch , shell stitch , and an open stitch on the bottom on the dress . by @oldhookandneedle
