This is the sound of dry bones rattling. I build motorsickle wheels and couldn’t be more proud for @3gknuck to have entrusted me with this set for his INSANE @bornfreeshow build. Whenever I get a call from Ryan I know something truly amazing is in the works. Something that’s second to none. Something that will shake up the whole game. The call I got about resurrecting a chopper outta the ashes let me know he was going to take things to another level! This set features 3 @harleydavidson star hubs. Two of em he cut in half to create one narrowed front double-sided spool with sealed bearings. The hubs were then sent to @snkbld for a halo on the front and a DOUBLE halo on the rear! I had my homie, Adan, polish all parts before he built up a couple layers of copper. They were then nickel dipped to highlight that good ol chrome drip. To keep things as narrow as possible up front I used a mirror polished blank 1.60x21” shouldered aluminum rim (only the best quality - Takasago - made in Japan). I started with a blank rim so I could put in that RADIAL lace pattern using show polished stainless steel spokes and nipples. I then wrapped it in fresh Firestone rubber. I gave the drive wheel an internal rebuild and laced and trued it with 2.15x18” Takasago which also received a show polished finish and s/s spokes and nipples. A really cool Coker is giving the grip. The second time around is always the best! — #OldNippleTwister 👌👌 by @oldnippletwister

1st Question: Do you want your wheels to have strength and style? Both are required for the #chopper @john.nacy has underway. So I set him up with this badass wheelset.
2nd Question: Did you tell me you are running a disc brake on the drive wheel? @john.nacy did. However, I somehow managed to build it with a star hub 🥴………
3rd Question: Was I able to correct my braindead move? Yes, 👉 to the last Picture for the final rear wheel setup using the required dual flange hub. These wheels are rocking show polished, authentic Borrani, shouldered aluminum rims. 21” up front and 16” rear. Polished stainless steel spokes and nipples holding a spool and FLANGED hub true. Heavy duty tubes inside the Avon Speedmaster and Firestone ANS. Roll with style, roll with strength — #OldNippleTwister by @oldnippletwister

Are you planning to pound the pavement on the #panhead you’re building? @roosterthechopper puts serious miles on all his machines and the 1948 #chopper he’s got underway is no exception. “The Monster” is getting beefed up with this strong wheelset. Up front a @mullinschaindrive machined aluminum spool star hub is laced and trued with show polished stainless steel spokes and nipples to a 2.15x18” chrome plated steel rim. It’s rolling on 4.50 Firestone rubber. The drive wheel features a dual flange #HarleyDavidson chrome plated steel hub, held to a 3.00x16” deep drop center rim with show polished stainless spokes and nipples. The 5.00x16 @firestonetires ANS was mounted and balanced with chrome plated steel spoke weights. Built for the ride! — #OldNippleTwister by @oldnippletwister

Whatchu know bout WM1 x 20” Jones rims round Pie-Crust conical drum hubs!? @mattymatheson brought me some crusty gold to cook up for a #HarleyDavidson #chopper. I disassembled things to be poached in some chromium. New bearings were installed. These hubs were originally found on 1954 #Triumph T100’s and T110’s. It’s rumored that the factory did put a handful of the leftovers from that year on some 1955 bikes. Either way - these things are as rare as hen’s teeth. Polished stainless steel spokes and nipples have the combo running true. #RollYourOwn #OldNippleTwisterWheels by @oldnippletwister

#OldNippleTwisterWheels are based on two things - Strength and Style! @jaredmichaelbirt is gonna be rolling correct on his #chopper. This set features a @mullinschaindrive aluminum - brakeless spool star hub up front pulling the polished - high shouldered aluminum rim true with stainless steel spokes and nipples. A fresh #Shinko E-70 was wrapped around it and balanced with chrome plated steel wheel weights. The drive is centered with a chrome plated #HarleyDavidson dual flange hub, strung with a s/s spoke set to the show polished 18”, and surrounded with Bates Baja rubber. Form & Function wins the game. — #OldNippleTwister #MotorcyclesSpokenHere #RollYourOwn by @oldnippletwister

@thrashinsupply has once again got the @harleydavidson game in a stranglehold with their 2025 Softail for the Biker Build Off against @kruesioriginals. @lancecoury and @arceo135 sent over some HD hubs and the custom sizing required for the shoes of their freedom machine. I built up this wheelset based on a narrow glide up front (centering the 21” hoop) and a wide 18” drop center on the drive. The rear features a custom spoke pattern to accommodate the staggered rim indexing. The brake side with a cross three and the power side with the traditional HD cross four. Of course they received mirror polished stainless steel spokes and nipples to hold things true. Don’t miss the debut of their creation Oct 4th over at the one and only @redrockharley! #MotorcyclesSpokenHere #OldNippleTwister by @oldnippletwister

Wheelz of steel for the masterpiece @chemicalcandycustoms is building for @bornfreeshow Texas. Scott came up with the hub design that @snkbld skillfully crafted and sent my way. My plater polished and triple dipped the components (including a super skinny 17” rim). After a polish, copper, a polish, nickel, and one more polish, the chromium layer was finally applied. That’s when things really began to come to life. I wove in mirror polished stainless steel spokes and nipples, pressed in bearings, trued things up, and slapped on fresh Firestone 2.25 rubber. #OldNippleTwister #HarleyDavidson #MotorcyclesSpokenHere #RollYourOwn by @oldnippletwister

Narrowed Hallcraft Spool x OG Harley Star. @bentheboog has some new shoes for the ‘47 knuck build he’s choppin’ on. Up front is a WM1x21” chrome plated rim held true with polished stainless steel spokes and nipples and wrapped in 2.75 Speedmaster rubber. The replated and rebuilt HD star centers a 3.00” drop center hoop surrounded by a 5.00x16” Diamond. — #OldNippleTwister #harleydavidson #choppers by @oldnippletwister

Harley Davidson K-Model front conical drum hub for @regenerate_cycles. Laced and trued with stainless steel spokes and nipples to a WM1 1.60x21” Jones rim. Wrapped it up with a heavy duty inner tube and fresh 3.00 Shinko vintage tread rubber. #Choppers : Ryan knows what’s good! — #OldNippleTwister #MotorcyclesSpokenHere by @oldnippletwister

👌👀👌 #OldNippleTwisterWheels If you’re gonna take the time to do it, do it right! @chrisperez_____ knows what’s good. I built up this brakeless front spool for his #HarleyDavidson #chopper. The WM1x21 aluminum shouldered rim and stainless steel spokes and nipples received some special coatings prior to being laced and trued to the spool. Wrapped things up in fresh Firestone rubber (2.75 on the tire keeps things super skinny for the extremely narrow front end he’s gonna run). Keep an eye out for the drive wheel coming soon. — #OldNippleTwister by @oldnippletwister

Need new shoes for your #HarleyDavidson #chopper? Just built this wheelset so @metaltuition_designs can put some rubber on the road. This classic 21”-16” combo features a @mullinschaindrive polished billet aluminum - front brakeless star spool hub in the lead and @harleydavidson dual-flange chrome steel hub on the drive. Chrome plated spokes and nipples are pulling the triple dipped hoops true. The fresh 777’s will provide some beefy surface for his machine to pound the pavement. Build em for the Ride! — #OldNippleTwister by @oldnippletwister

I build motorcycle wheels and @panammotorcycles builds incredible motorcycles. I couldn’t be more proud to have this wheelset on his machine. Frankie definitely deserved being awarded Best Bobber at @bornfreeshow this year! This 1948 @harleydavidson #Panhead is one of the cleanest builds I’ve seen in a long time. It’s rad that Cab thought so too -> give it the ol’ swipe and see what I mean. — #OldNippleTwister #MotorcyclesSpokenHere by @oldnippletwister
