We are thrilled to welcome @bondhousebooks for a special evening celebrating the release of Saudade: Another Word for Longing, Melissa Scholes Young’s debut poetry collection!!

The evening will feature a reading from the collection, followed by a book signing. Copies of Saudade will be available for purchase, along with a curated selection of Kentucky fiction from Bond House Books.

Tuesday update - no open mic this week (October 20). This week, we are welcoming @radioeyelexington as the host their volunteer appreciate event from 5pm-8pm at Old North (thanks @dovaskitchen for providing catering!!).

If you are not familiar with Radio Eye of Lexington, they are an amazing local organization dedicated to, "the reading of current news, public service and general interest programming to people who are blind and print-disabled, with the vision of producing quality programming designed to help our listening audience lead enriched, productive, and independent lives." We are thrilled to host Radio Eye & their amazing volunteers at Old North, and look forward to seeing everyone for open mic next week!!
