That early 2000’s Flava with a LA gangsta twist. 🌟🏆

Growing up in LA at the time, I use to go to my barbershop and see a stack of these magazines and pass time by reading , being put on game with all the new releases that were coming out, all the clothing brands that were dropping fly shit, and so forth. I was young at the time, but it was definitely a time in the city. From The Source Award shows, BET Awards every summer, to the movies and music videos being filmed throughout the city. 20 years later, an idea popped into my head and I start collecting multiple issues of this magazine to start a collection, and then decided to bring a vision I’ve had in mind to life. Shoutout to the homegirl @lesliefromthe.b for being a part of this project, and to the few people who helped bring this to reality 🏁 taken in Los Angeles, California by @oldschool_mentality
