Call it burnout. Call it social media detox. Call it whatever you’d like, but we know we have been slacking on our posting game.

Once last year got so busy, we put down our socials with the intention to pick them back up once our season slowed down, and well things never really slowed down 🤷‍♀️ for people that thought maybe we stopped doing events, maybe we gave up, maybe we got ran out of town. Well we didn’t, we’re here, we never left and we are busier than ever- however we are going to be much more active on here! We still have highlights from so many weddings from last season, New Years, Valentines Day and with our season starting tomorrow we decided there’s no better time than right now to get back to showing you exactly what we do best.

The sign of getting older is watching all the kids you grew up with getting married. We are always so honored to be asked to be a part of these celebrations in any capacity, as well as proud to see those we grew up with stepping into the next chapter of their life! We always have great things to say about Proprietor’s Lodge here in Pittsfield, and today was no different. A parade of classic cars escorted the couple to the front door and the best weather we have seen yet this season! by @oldsoulsounds

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, in MA, you never know what to expect with weather. One of the most unique and elegant properties we’ve have the pleasure of being on, it was a beautiful (and hot) day as we watched the dark clouds roll in. Right as we opened the dance floor what happened? A torrential thunderstorm greeted the newlyweds, and with their dance floor in the open, you might think they would have lost all hope, but that was not the case. These party animals took the dance floor by storm (pun intended) and dance right until the stormed stopped. Their mix moved from country music and oldies that played across two locations during the cocktail hour, to dance party hits and hip hop anthems that kept them moving in the rain. by @oldsoulsounds

One of our favorite places here in Western MA is the @magicwingsma Butterfly Conservatory. Having a wedding in such a special place was something we were very eager to be a part of. Our clients were absolutely amazing to work with and we were happy to add some colorful splashed of uplighting throughout the venue to match with the color creatures inside 🦋 by @oldsoulsounds

An incredible day surrounded by incredible people. Surprisingly our first time at the Lake House Guest Cottages, but far from our last time this season. It was our first time working in paper lanterns, over the string lighting. The clients musical mix moved between classic favorites to modern hits and even included a WWE wrestling style entrance to the reception. Weather in the Berkshires can always be a battle and this summer that certainly has been the case, but luckily the Lake House provides a massive tent, fit for every occasion. taken in The Lake House Guest Cottages of the Berkshires by @oldsoulsounds

We are only two weeks out from our first wedding of the 2025 season! We wanted to kick things off by sharing the stunning gallery of Joe and Ana. This mountaintop fall wedding had it all—wildlife making a surprise cameo during their first kiss, cotton candy skies, and a reception featuring a party like no other. Doing a wedding with your friends…it feels like you’re getting a cheat day at work. From the moment I began working with these two, I knew we were in a fun day! Music choices ranged from the classic party songs to the nitty gritty hip-hop we love to throw down with. From ceremony services, while running live sound for their keyboardist and singer, to dressing up the @countryclubofpittsfield in lighting to make the room shine, we wanted to make sure these guys had everything they dreamed of! taken in Country Club of Pittsfield by @oldsoulsounds

@proprietorslodge makes for the perfect event space for your Reception/After-Party for any occasion. We got to spend a few weeks up there this past wedding season working events of all kind- these guys really packed the house! With a dance floor that flooded over, they did not disappoint!
