Hoy arrancamos el día con olor a café tostado y gasolina vieja en Benzin & Koffein, una de esas mañanas que solo Vintage Vices sabe cómo curar. El punto de encuentro: Mamma Leone Bakery, donde el espresso se mezcla con el rugido de los flat-six. La comida… cumplidora. Pero lo que realmente se robó el show fueron los Porsche: 911 clásicos, modernos, aircooleds y algún que otro outlaw haciendo de las suyas. Un festín visual para cualquier amante de Stuttgart. Y entre todo ese linaje germano, llegué yo… en una Cayenne. Sí, la única, pero con porte de guerrera y alma de safari. Me miraban raro, pero respetaban el flow. Aquí les dejo algunas de las capturas que hice —los fierros hablaron y yo simplemente escuché con la cámara en mano. Carrera GT #0911 — regarded by many as one of the most special CGTs produced, and very near and dear to ZWECK — being the only example finished in Signal Yellow, our company color. Out of the 1,270 cars produced, 675 came to the NA market, and of those, only 19 PTS cars were produced. This example is one of only two PTS NA yellow CGT (Signal and Ferrari Yellow). It was specified with red-painted brake calipers from factory as well. Ordered new by Mike Valentine, a pioneer in the radar detector industry and a hardcore Porsche enthusiast, #0911 has covered less than 8,000 miles, wearing fully original paint throughout entirely protected by PPF. It is in its original configuration mechanically, with exception to its Ohlins dampers and Surface Transforms ceramic discs. Maintaining strong records since new and meticulous care, this incredibly unique CGT is ready to be enjoyed by a new caretaker. The recall campaign is scheduled and will be completed prior to delivery. El Porsche Diesel Junior es una joya entre los tractores vintage, famoso tanto por su diseño como por su funcionalidad. Fabricado en los años 50 y principios de los 60 por Porsche, sí, la misma marca conocida por sus coches deportivos de alta velocidad, el Diesel Junior forma parte de una serie de tractores que incluye modelos como el Standard, el Super, y el Master. Una de las características más destacadas del Porsche Diesel Junior es su motor monocilíndrico de refrigeración por aire, algo inusual en los tractores, que compartía algunas de las innovaciones tecnológicas de los automóviles Porsche de la época. Este motor, aunque pequeño en comparación con los de otros tractores, era muy eficiente y fiable, lo que lo hacía perfecto para pequeñas explotaciones agrícolas y trabajos ligeros. El diseño del Porsche Diesel Junior también merece mención.
