As a longtime fan of M. Night Shyamalan, I was beside myself when Universal expressed interest in partnering with me to promote his newest movie Old. His style of spook is so subtle, his twists are the stuff of legends, and he’s honestly just such a good human - he and his family juggle so many incredible philanthropic endeavors, I aspire to be able to support my community at the level he has 🖤 Maybe one day!

On that note, designing a piece for a master of twists, something that encapsulates the tone and calls out a handful of key details *without* spoiling the movie, well lemme tell you, it’s not easy. Not to mention, fitting two beaches in a bell jar, and making paradise “sinister”…woo, boy. Thank god for his featured extras on the DVD, bc watching him talk about his own challenges with the setting was super inspiring.

I designed the beach to be a mirror of itself, with footprints going into/out of the cave on either side. I wanted to capture the sense of time and entrapment with the subtle differences between each. I’ve included a handful of secret nods to details in the film that I can’t tell you about here, but guarantee you’ll know exactly what they are when ya watch 🖤

Anyway, I hope @mnight digs it! Thank you all for your continuous support and encouragement as I tackled this piece last week. I’ve never done anything like this before, and am really proud of the turnout 🥰 Y’all are the best.

#OldTheMovie is now on Digital and arrives on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on 10/19 (today!)

#ad I recently partnered with Universal to create this one-of-a-kind set of action figures to celebrate the release of Night’s newest film OLD.
.
This was a super fun project for a movie that’s equally fun (and with a cast that is insanely good).
.
OLD is out now on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and digital download right now, so check it out today while you’re still young.
