Lord, stir their faith to keep praying, keep working, and keep believing, for even in the silence, You are moving. Anyone who knows my husband understands that he is a naturally reserved and introspective individual. However, on the day of my birthday celebration, he stepped completely out of his comfort zone and gave me a gift I will treasure forever……a heartfelt performance. One of the beautiful things my husband and I share is a deep love for hip-hop, something many people might not know about us. My husband, who used to rap back in the day, has always kept that part of his life private. Until now, I had never had the privilege of seeing him perform. But on this special occasion, he honored me by rapping the RZA’s original version of You’re All I Need, one of my favorite songs. With every lyric, he poured his heart into the performance, honoring not just the song’s timeless beauty but our shared passion for the culture. It was the most extraordinary and personal gift, a moment that spoke volumes about his love for me and made the day all the more unforgettable.

The Executive Exchange Expo: Nurses Edition was deeply personal to me. As a nurse, I understand firsthand the compassion, sacrifice, resilience, and expertise required to care for others. Nurses are the heart of healthcare, and it was an honor to create a space where they felt seen, celebrated, supported, and connected to meaningful opportunities.

I am incredibly grateful to the County leadership, healthcare leaders, and community partners who attended and poured into our nurses. Hearing the overwhelmingly positive feedback from the nurses about their experience made every moment worthwhile.

My heart was truly full. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so meaningful and memorable. We will continue to honor, support, and advocate for the nurses who give so much of themselves every single day.

Lord, as our children return to school, cover them with Your protection and surround them with Your favor. Guard their minds bodies, and hearts everywhere they go. Place patient and nurturing teachers in their path who will see their potential and help them grow.
