Life is a highway by @olegobbens

this film is dedicated to all my comrades at home and those scattered across the world. to all of us, fighting on this dying planet, for a different world.

do a tricky thing: we stare into the abyss, and see/experience darkness (genocide, renewed arms race, dead ecosystems, AI weapons, fascism, death). yet we hold each other, and refuse the world. we struggle against it, and in that struggle, create hope.

so, the film speaks to the power of a community, of friendships, of love. about fighting in a world on fire. and about practising hope.

@olegobbens made the film about our holiday, and i overlayed it with text. Ole is an incredible photographer/filmmaker (and now also musician, @lurdumusic).

i hope the film brings you something. perhaps some inspiration to read David Graeber. or, if anything, simple joy from the gorgeous shots.
