Everyone wants to see all of Bali.

After more than 15 visits and planing many Bali trip for my clients, I think that’s the biggest mistake.

Bali isn’t about rushing between waterfalls, temples and Instagram spots. It’s about slowing down enough to actually enjoy where you are.

I am the travel advisor and I have been in 45 countries and traveled all my life and these are the five things I’ll never do when I travel again.

1️⃣ I never book bad hotels anymore. Every night of your trip matters. A hotel doesn’t have to be expensive to be great, and an expensive hotel isn’t always worth it.

2️⃣ I never book flights through random websites just because they look cheaper. Many of those fares come with strict conditions, limited support, or are difficult to change. I book directly with the airline or through a trusted travel advisor.

3️⃣ I never sacrifice my wellbeing just to tick every box. I’d rather experience fewer places properly than rush through a checklist.

4️⃣ I never choose large mass-market group tours. Instead, I work with trusted local operators to create experiences that fit my interests. Smaller and private experiences always offer so much more.

5️⃣ I never travel like a tourist anymore. I connect with locals, hire local guides, visit neighbourhood cafés, and experience destinations beyond the usual highlights.
