Some projects stay with you. Flourish Society´s Campaign was one of them — a Portuguese brand built around a simple but radical idea: growing something new. A wardrobe without boundaries, where feminine and masculine simply coexisted. These images were our way of translating that vision. Bodies in motion, in contact, turning away from the camera — presence without performance. For the designer, and everything she was building. Thank you to fashion designer @carolinacosta for the vision, to our models @anaveloso @janina_tati @irinamacari for bringing it to life so beautifully, and to @mariafariamakeup for the beauty. Totem for @reshape.ceramics We love working with brands that carry real meaning. REshape Ceramics is a Portuguese brand crafting handmade ceramic pieces while creating opportunities for individuals within the prison community, all profits reinvested back into the people who make it possible. For this project, we had carte blanche on art direction, and for us, that's where the real storytelling happens. Still life lets us slow things down. It strips away context and lets a product simply exist, take up space, hold its own narrative, almost like an editorial spread rather than a product shot. Here, we leaned into something playful: totems built from vegetables and fruit, a little off-balance, a little alive, set against a backdrop of floral shadows. taken in Lisbon by @olhar.studio

There's a kind of light I keep chasing. Soft, diffused, never quite where you'd expect, but always telling a story. Shot for an independent international magazine, the shadows it leaves behind move across the backdrop like brushstrokes - unplanned, but somehow exactly right. I think of them like punctuation. The pause in a sentence that changes everything. A touch of poetry. During this shoot, the light kept shifting while Renata held still. What happens when you stop thinking about texture as a finish, and start treating it as a material? I've been mixing ingredients, surfaces, and unexpected elements nail polish dissolved into cream, oil meeting water — not to document a formula, but to see what happens visually. What light does to a surface. What shadow does to volume. How something as ordinary as a drop can become a composition. This is how I think about cosmetic photography. Five candles. Five colours. A small sculpture that almost looks like it grew that way. What I love about product photography is the moment an object stops being an object and starts having a presence. The same shape, the same material — and yet each one carries a different weight, a different mood. Arranging them was like composing a bouquet. Some objects don't just want to be seen. They want to be felt. During the shooting what drew me to this flacon was not just the object itself, but its shadow. The way light transforms it into something else entirely. A presence larger than its form. A brand's identity lives as much in what is suggested as in what is shown. There's always one thing in a photograph that stops you. Sometimes it's not the composition, not the light, something smaller, more persistent. Barthes called it the punctum. The detail that pricks. During this Flourish Society campaign, I asked Janina to hold a stone. I love the way she holds it, like she's always held it. Her gaze, unguarded. The emotion that passes through. Editorial for Observador Lifestyle magazine, "Sesta Surreal"* The table has become a playground. Dominant blue, hands mid-gesture, an anona turned into a roulette wheel, strawberries half-eaten. The familiar becomes strange as colour takes over and ordinary objects begin to follow their own rules. I loved how this felt both playful and strange at the same time.
