A CELEBRATION OF AKWA IBOM.

THE IBOM BRIDE 🌊🌴

From the maiden to the bride, another chapter of Akwa Ibom told through my lens.

A story shaped by culture, fashion, beauty and the landscape that inspires it.

Akwa Ibom is deeply connected to its waters, home to Nigeria’s longest coastline, where the ocean meets swaying palms and lush tropical landscapes.

For this bridal story, those elements became part of the visual language. The intricate beading draws inspiration from the movement of the ocean and the palm trees that define the beauty of Akwa Ibom’s coastal landscape.

Through my lens, I wanted to capture more than a beautiful bride. I wanted each frame to carry a sense of place, heritage and identity. The elegance of the bride, the richness of the details and the quiet beauty of a culture woven into every image.
