actually did a project from my ‘mending’ pile! i hemmed these kirkland swim trunks to be about 2 inches shorter. they used to hit right above the knee and now they’re way more wearable for me! 🩳

vintage metal/carboard toy box upcycled into an ottoman for my new craft room! 🤹🏻‍♀️💜

i was looking for an ottoman to use for seating and storage in my new craft room because i have two desks now and no closets!! i found this at an antique mall in lancaster PA and was super obsessed with the clown block. I cleaned, primed, & painted the cardboard because it had seen better days but kept 3 of the blocks uncovered. i sewed up a little cushion for it and am super happy with how it’s turned out! (and it’s shockingly large inside so much fabric is hiding in it!!)

i’m currently in the process of moving across the country so i haven’t quite been able to craft, but I did finish up this quilted duffle esque bag a few weeks ago!

it was originally supposed to be a sewing machine tote but i got scared and gave it way too much ease… oops!

on the bright side it PERCECTLY! holds all of my synthetic yarn. excited to get crafting again soon🥳🧶👝 by @olivblair

throwback to 2024! this is one of my favorite dresses i’ve made🌹🌸💐🌺🌷🌻🥀🌼🪷🪻

i wore it to see madison beer with @cal3b.6 in 2024 and felt so cute! i’ve been packing up my apartment and just folded this up into a box so i thought i’d show her some love💚

i replaced the zipper on a pair of vintage shorts! i bought these a while ago and had put them in my repair pile and i couldn’t figure out why. i wore them out and was reminded the zipper would fall every time i sat down!

i had been working on this (former) shrug for a long while now, and i was at a point where i just didn’t care about finishing/working on it anymore. my stitch count was off and i couldn’t pinpoint it so i decided to just bind it off. the good news is that it is wide enough to work as a top! i’m gonna block it and then see where the road takes me creatively 👗🪻

i learned a LOT with this exercise- how to read my knitting, how to tink, frog lace, and how to read a lace chart! i’ll keep yall updated on what i end up doing to make this wearable

playing with a ladder stitch today! i’ve been a little scared to mess with the basic settings of my serger but it really wasn’t bad- i 💗 my manual!! and i really like this effect so far. i used it on the curved side seams as well, im curious how it will hold up to wear. im debating whether to try it out on the hem too or going with a decorative stitch from my regular machine! y’all will see what i come up with in the next few days (or weeks) 🪜

i crocheted up a little zombie guy from the pattern book “cute n’ creepy crochet” by donielle broderick!🧟🧶 i was able to use yarn i already had and he’s stuffed with entirely fabric/yarn scraps! he’s going to a good home with @catherinekammerer 🥰 by @olivblair
