What a wonderful way to end 2025, thank you so much to the @ellafilmfestival for the Best Picture award for my film ‘Seen’ 🩷

The reason why I love film so much is because it allows you to share your story without saying anything directly. I For most of my life, everytime I spoke up for myself I was shut down or shut out. But I can’t change what happened or forget it. I found that the words I was too afraid to speak I could translate into images.

I never realized that I could direct until I did it. I encourage everyone, especially women, to embrace everything someone told you to hide because you will shine a light on everyone who is hiding it too. What you think is wrong with you is what is going to make you successful.
