If you liked My Year of Rest and Relaxation and The Handmaids Tale, definitely check out this book about a corporate surrogate…yes, it’s as weird and unsettling as it sounds. by @olivemyreads
This was my first Alice Feeney book, and I absolutely loved it. Very dark and twisty and perfect for Halloween season! by @olivemyreads
Rebecca, just give us book 4 already. by @olivemyreads
This was beautiful. by @olivemyreads
Theater geeks rejoice! Our Strange Duet is a novel adaptation of Phantom of the Opera, and the audiobook is complete with music and singing. If you’re not an absolute dork for Phantom, I don’t think this would be an enjoyable read. I also had some qualms with how the book romanticizes dangerous/abusive behavior… It was worth the read for me, but I’ll stick to my 25th anniversary cast recording when I’m feeling the itch for Phantom content. by @olivemyreads
Finishing a book in 3 hours has got to be a personal record. Nice twist in this! by @olivemyreads
Spooky! One of Lisa Jewell’s best books hands down. by @olivemyreads
This is the craziest family lore I’ve ever heard. Very beautifully written and thoughtfully executed. It lived up to the recommendation of a non fiction book that reads like fiction. by @olivemyreads
Half 📖 half 🎧 to get through this one. It was meh? I tried starting it so many times and never got hooked. A lot of the reveals were pretty predictable. Not my favorite from Riley Sager. by @olivemyreads
This book deserves all of the hype it’s getting, and I loved reading it with @gilconnolly! This was so chaotic and fun while also dark and heartbreaking. Glad to see A24 already snatched this up because it has limitless potential. I hope that there’s a sequel coming… by @olivemyreads
Absolutely devoured None of This is True by @lisajewelluk. I loved the twists and turns just as much as I loved reading how Ms. Jewell would produce Netflix documentary. This might kickstart a thriller binge… by @olivemyreads
A quick read that packs a punch. Anthony Bourdain writes in the meandering monologues you’re familiar with if you love his shows—it’s fun to immerse yourself in his prose. RIP Mary Mallon. You would have loved Food Network. by @olivemyreads
