The interior design of Samsung Design Europe's headquarters in London.

The breakout space and kitchen in images 1, 2 and 3 provide the opportunity for social interaction and encourage employees to take time away from their desks in a relaxing environment. A linen curtain adds warmth and divides the breakout space and studio, while providing the flexibility to customise the space for internal and external events.

Entrants travel through an enclosed, low-lit lobby (image 4) before emerging into the bright, open plan that instantly calms with its soft materiality, biophilia, and restrained colour palette. The timber slatted wall then shapes the interior and invites users to explore the space. Wrapping around the meeting rooms and breakout space, the Korean inspired structure uses FSC-certified pine and adds tactility and scale to the studio. taken in St Mary Axe by @oliverpohlmann

Flashback to one of my favourite projects. This is the London headquarters for Samsung Design Europe.

A collaboration between architect McLaren Excell, award-winning office design & fit-out specialists Oktra and Samsung themselves to create a refined and timeless work environment. The result is a minimalist, blank canvas where creative thinking can thrive and agile working is embraced.

Additional images from the @oktra__ design and build of Headland's impressive London office. The brief called for a workspace that would bring their growing team together on a single floor, strengthening connections, improving communication and creating a space that truly reflects their people-first culture.
