I’ve never shared this picture before. It always hurt too much - the pure joy and innocence on our faces. We were so excited about you, our little tiger. We just told your uncles and aunts in Chicago. The first stop of our 16 day road trip across the country. The trip was hard on me. 10+ hours of driving every day and morning sickness don’t really go together but I’m happy that I did it. Because I did it with you. It’s gonna be four years soon since we lost you. I’m not gonna lie. Things have gotten easier with time but I miss you just as much. Every day. Hope you feel it. by @oliversun10521

Mommy has been thinking about you all day/night yesterday and I just wanted to share this photo of us at your park. My beautiful incredible sun.

I love that I get to look to you everyday and turn to you for help, support, guidance. I wish I could do the same for you, be someone you could turn to for questions but we both know you are way wiser and smarter than mommy could ever be.

Hi Oliver it’s mama. This is your baby brother Oren who will be 4 months tomorrow. I was talking to him today about you and I can tell he loves you so much already, despite only knowing you from afar. I told him about how you are the reason mommy was able to bring him to this world. That your loss, your sacrifice allowed for mommy to learn of her condition and so I could take the preventative measures to fix it and bring Oren earthside. Without you he and I would not be here so thank you. Thank you for being the best son and big brother anyone could ever ask for.
