Wacken Metal Battle Iceland 2026 Judges post 4/5

It's time to introduce to you the judges in this year's WMB Iceland contest on Saturday 25th of April in @idno.rvk. A whopping number of 20 people from the metal music industry, 12 from abroad and 8 domestic comprise the panel of judges this year. We introduce to you here the next 4 of the bunch, in alphabetical order.

Oliver Sütöri - @oliversutori
Part of the Metal Battle family since the early years. Promoter for WMB Austria since 2007 and for Hungary since 2013. Regular member of the jury in Wacken. Jokester since birth.

Patricia Cihlar - @patciihlarin
Co-organizer of the Wacken Metal Battle in Austria in 2024 and 25, representing Austria in the international jury at Wacken Open Air since 2024.

Pedro Almeida - @apreacts
Co-founder of A&P-Reacts Youtube channel, covering all metal genres since 2017. Providing extensive content across social media platforms while spotlighting bands, festivals and events worldwide. A well respected interviewer and reviewer in the metal community.

Philipp Adelsberger - @phil_from_afar
Digital promotion & content creator at Reigning Phoenix Music (home of Meshuggah, Deicide, Amorphis, Helloween, Opeth and Power Paladin among many others), former publicist at Nuclear Blast & e-commerce manager at Silverdust (Summer Breeze); overlooking and supporting both mainstream & underground artists and shows.

If you stumble on these peeps in the audience, give them a high five and even buy them a beer or a beverage of their choice (unless you're in one of the bands, no bribing the judges!)
