Bastila, from C27Studio. 3D printing and paints by myself. Finally ! #miniaturespainting #knightsoftheoldrepublic #vallejopaints #figurines by @olivfigs
Work In Progress I think I identified my main difficulties, especially in this miniature : my colors palette organization and my instability with the brushes. First, the model is big and not easy to hold firmly. So, i am doing a lot of errors. Second, my paints on the humid palette are mixing too much each other. And logically, I can’t remember the exact paints I have used on the different surfaces. Sometimes, there are surfaces of the same material that have slightly different colors (with same illuminations), because one time I have used this mixture, and later I lost this mixture in my palette so I am trying to recover it (hardly). But it is a different one... And my last difficulty : find the proper colours. Like the leather part : would it be better to highlight a reddish brown with a lighty yellow-orange, or with a ivory White ? Or both ? The only way to know it sometimes is to test. And when not satisfied, I try a glaze .... and I have to start again, finding the correct colours. by @olivfigs

Priestess, evil priestess. From Arkeis by Ankama. I think I should have had give more contrasts to the gold NMM parts. Lesson learned ? Maybe...I will do ba little better next time. This is my learning process. #arkeisminiatures #arkeis #nmm #miniaturespainting #miniatures by @olivfigs
At last ! Real struggle with gold NMM : brown, yellow brown, golden yellow, white for points of lights....and inktense chestnut (#scale75) glaze. Nakari, from Solomon Kane expansion. #solomonkaneboardgame #nmm #miniaturespainting #nonmetallicmetal by @olivfigs
N'Longa, Solomon Kane : vampires A bit of green OSL from the brasero flames. And a soft cold ambient light with purple reflects. Hence the grayish tone of the black skin on the model. Thanks again to @bourchelen for inspiration. #miniaturespainting #miniatures #osl #citadelpaints #warhammer by @olivfigs
Zunna, from Solomon Kane : facing the vampires. I tried a gold nmm in a cold light environnement. Besides, black skin is something really challenging to paint ! Pretty satisfied with the result, but I will try to do better next time !
